Children s Miracle Network Hospitals raise funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Since 1983, Children s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through the charity s Miracle Balloon icon. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. 10 What is the RE/MAX and CMN Hospitals Partnership? Since 1992, RE/MAX and Children s Miracle Network Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada have partnered to raise more than $130 million for 170 member hospitals across North America, with local hospitals determining how funds are needed most. Making a donation with each transaction, RE/MAX Offices and Agents are setting themselves apart by giving back to their local hospital. RE/MAX and Children s Miracle Network Hospitals Fundraising Program: RE/MAX Agents can make a donation with each closed transaction. RE/MAX Agents and RE/MAX Offices can also raise funds through fundraising events. RE/MAX Agents and RE/MAX Offices utilize the Miracle System to make donations to their local hospital and process Honor Cards for their clients. Miracle Homes and Miracle Properties can be designated with sign riders which can be purchased on the Shop RE/MAX site shop.remax.net Miracle Agents and Miracle Offices have access to co-branded campaign material. (See page 16.) 100 percent of donations stay at the local Children s Miracle Network Hospital. RE/MAX Agents and RE/MAX Offices stand out in their community because they are raising funds for their local hospital. Supporting your local hospital with each transaction can result in referrals. What is a Miracle Agent? An individual RE/MAX Agent who donates $ or more in a calendar year will be recognized as a Miracle Agent. Money must be donated through the Miracle System. The gross donation may be a result of a donation for each transaction, a special event or a total of various donations throughout the year. Miracle Agents will be recognized with a certificate of appreciation. 10

11 What is a Miracle Office? Any RE/MAX Office (one address location) that has 100% agent participation or donates $2,000 or more in a calendar year will be recognized as a Miracle Office. Money must be donated through the Miracle System. The gross donation may be a result of a donation for each transaction, a special event or a total of various donations throughout the year. Miracle Offices will be recognized with a window cling diplay for their office. What is the Miracle System? Custom designed for RE/MAX Offices and Agents, the Miracle System is an online secure web site where you can donate funds to your local hospital by office and by agent. The Miracle System is also used for requesting Honor Cards by agents for every transaction. (For more information see pages ) 11

12 Getting Started Helping kids in your community is as easy as 1-2-3! Step 1: Decide You Want to Support Your Local CMN Hospital with Every Transaction or Fundraising Event Make a donation with every transaction or for a fundraising event by using the Miracle System. These donations are not automatic. You or your office administrator must log onto the Miracle System to process your donation. Decide you want to become a Miracle Agent or Miracle Office and utilize our branded marketing tools to set yourself apart from other agents. (See page 16.) All agents are in the Miracle System. You do not need to sign up or pledge to be a part of the program. You must make plans with your office to have your donation taken out of your transaction and put into the Miracle System. 13 Miracle System Instructions for Donations Click on the Donate at the top of the page Optional: Office Administrators can print out a form, attach a check and send to CMN Hospitals in Salt Lake City 1. Select donation by Individual RE/MAX Associate or RE/MAX Office. 2. Enter RE/MAX Associate ID and/or RE/MAX Office Code. (You can also search by Associate or Office.) 3. Follow the steps to enter the donation. For Honor Cards, minimum must be $25.00 per transaction. 13

14 RE/MAX and CMN Hospitals Honor Card Program For a contribution of $25 or more to your local Children s Miracle Network Hospital, an Honor Card can be sent to your customers acknowledging that you have made a gift in their name. The card contains the RE/MAX logo, your local affiliate hospital logo, and a local patient story. It can also be customized with your name and office name. Honor Cards make a perfect closing gift because they: Represent a tax-deductible donation. Take the guesswork out of what closing gift to choose. Show that you re giving back to the community. Connect your brand to the Children s Miracle Network Hospital in your community. Are so well received that they can result in repeat business and referrals. Honor Cards also are effective ways to thank colleagues, business partners and loan or title companies. They also are a great way to say Happy Birthday! 15 Miracle System Instructions for Honor Cards Click on Honor Card at the top of the page 1. Enter RE/MAX Associate ID and RE/MAX Office Code. (You can also search by Associate or Office.) 2. Enter the donation amount. Minimum must be $25.00 per honor card. This is where you input the amount you are going to donate under the Donate tab. No payment is collected under the Honor Card tab. 3. Enter Honor Card recipient s information and select a message for the recipient. 4. Submit the Honor Card. Honor Cards are mailed from the Children s Miracle Network Hospitals National Office every Friday. 15

18 Brand Standards A. Core Elements Our Signature Balloon Icon The Children s Miracle Network Hospitals signature consists of two elements: the balloon icon and the Wordmark. Children s Miracle Network Hospitals has developed an identity system to strengthen our position and organization. The consistent and proper use of our signature helps build our brand and increase our name recognition. As the cornerstone of our visual identity, the look and usage of our signature must be consistent at all times. Otherwise, the brand image could be adversely affected over time. B. 2X X Wordmark Core Mark 2X A. Core Mark Our identity is the visual representation of Children s Miracle Network Hospitals and, in essence, our signature. This mark is always the preferred mark in all applications. B. Clear Space The width of the line weight of the balloon establishes x, illustrating the minimum clear space area to be used in most applications. C. 2X 2X C. Minimum Size In order to maintain readability, minimum sizes have been established. Do not reproduce the core version any smaller than 3/4 wide.
