1 ACCOMMODATION Tents (available in all villages): Our tents are one of our village hallmarks and an exciting experience of how our concept all began. The tents are on the beach-front and the interior is 3.5x3.5 meters with hand-made furniture, lighting, electricity outlet and a seating area just a few meters from the shoreline. Tents are available with 2 single beds and share a communal bathroom facility. Shower towels are available if needed from the reception (free of charge) and beach towels can be rented on site for a fee. Royal Tents (available in all villages): the Royal Tent is our most popular accommodation option and an integral part of our minimal impact concept. Interior is 5x5 meters and well furnished with a minibar, fan, bean bag chairs and table, and a seating area just a few meters from the shoreline. Royal tents are available with a double bed or two singles and share a communal bathroom facility. Shower towels are available if needed from the reception (free of charge) and beach towels can be rented on site for a fee. Huts (available in Marsa Shagra and Nakari Villages): Our Huts are simple, dome-roofed rooms, measuring 3.5 x 3.5 meters. They are set on the beach, slightly back from the shoreline but offer uninterrupted sea views. They feature two single beds, bedside table with a lamp, a wardrobe, and a fan. Huts share a communal bathroom facility and shower towels are available if needed from the reception (free of charge). Beach towels can be rented on site for a fee. Standard Chalet (available in all villages): The Chalet is a standard room overlooking the spectacular mountains on one side and the Red Sea on the other. There are terraces on either side with breathtaking views and every room enjoys an unobstructed sea view. The Chalets are 4x6 meters and feature either double beds or singles, a wardrobe, side and dressing table and a fan. The Chalets feature en-suite bathroom and towels are provided for showering. Beach towels are available for a fee.

2 ACCOMMODATION Deluxe Chalet (available in Shagra & Nakari only): The Deluxe Chalet is our finest room standard overlooking the spectacular mountains on one side and the Red Sea on the other. There are terraces on either side with breathtaking views and every room enjoys an unobstructed sea view. The Deluxe Chalets are 4x6 meters and feature either double bed or singles and feature wardrobe, side & dressing table, AC, digital safe, mini-bar, water kettle with coffee and tea. Deluxe Chalets feature en-suite bathroom and towels are provided for showering. Beach towels are available for a fee. Check-in time 1400hrs / check-out 1200hrs. Day use (until sunset) will be billed at half day price and according to availability. Late checkout until 2pm is free of charge according to availability. Guests should bring their own towels and cosmetics; shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste etc. Most of these items can also be purchased at the gift shop on-site 3 full meals a day are included as part of the full-board package, as well as soft drinks, water, tea, and coffee. After buffet hours these items are available at the cafeteria. Please inform us in advance for vegetarian menu or other special dietary requirements. Water Bottles: As part of Red Sea Diving Safari s Environmental Policy, we have implemented a water bottle scheme to decrease the number of disposable plastic bottles. We invite you to participate in this effort by purchasing a cooler bottle at a cost of 5 euros. These can be re-filled from any of the water dispensers distributed throughout our villages. If you do not wish to participate you may take one regular plastic water bottle for free and re-fill it from the dispensers. Additional water bottles will require you to purchase these at a cost of 2 Euro for 0.6 litres and 3 Euro for 1.5 liters.

3 DIVING PROGRAM The diving program of Red Sea Diving Safari is designed in a way that satisfies all divers, from beginners to advanced. Not every location of Red Sea Diving Safari offers the same diving program. In Marsa Shagra and Marsa Nakari we offer two unlimited diving packages: 4 Guided Package: Unlimited diving + 4 guided dives (2 on the first day in the house-reef and 2 more outside the village in «Zone A» or on the house reef during the stay). 10 Guided Package: Unlimited diving + 10 guided dives (2 on the first day in the house-reef and 8 more outside the village in «Zone A» or on the house reef during the stay). Our diving program in Lahami is primarily by highperformance speed boat and includes 4 dives per day, including diving to the Fury Shoals. Lahami doesn t have a walk-in house reef like Shagra or Nakari. Our diving program covers over 60 dive sites which are categorized into a zoning system. Each village features its own zoning system and you can refer to the village fact sheet for full details. SHAGRA & NAKARI VILLAGES: Zone A: guided shore dives (min. 6 pax) 11 Euro per person/per dive. Zone B: off-shore dive sites by speed boat (extended range min. 6 pax) 17 Euro per person/ per dive. Zone C: off-shore dive sites by speed boat (extended range min. 4 pax) 28 Euro per person/ per dive. ***Shore-based dive sites in zone A and offshore dives to zone «B» and C are optional and to be paid on site. 4 UNLIMITED HOUSE REEF DIVING* The unlimited house reef diving package is our standard program and you must have minimum OWD certification to book this package. Depending on the package chosen, it also includes 4 guided dives (2 on the first day in the house-reef and 2 more outside the village in «Zone A» or on the house reef during the stay) or 10 guided dives (2 on the first day in the house-reef and 8 more outside the village in «Zone A» or on the house reef during the stay). Shagra and Nakari are situated in front of a small bay (Marsa) with a sandy bottom. Our dive center is situated in front of this bay, which is the base of our unlimited diving program. High-performance speedboats are on standby at guest request offering the option of up to 6 different dive patterns on our house reef. These dives are unguided which allows for a real sense of exploration and adventure. Tanks are readily accessible so that guests simply take a tank, sign out on the whiteboard, then go. When the dive is over fresh water basins are available in the dive shade for rinsing equipment. Hangers are also provided for wet-suits and BCDs, which stay stored with your other equipment until you are ready for your next dive. For your first visit you will receive an orientation dive around the bay accompanied by one of the guides. After the initial orientation guests are free to enjoy our unlimited diving setup. This is definitely one of the most unique aspects of RSDS; the freedom to dive in buddy pairs at your own pace and at the time of your choosing. The bays where the villages are situated have superb house reefs which are home to hundreds of marine life species and an excellent variety of soft and hard corals. These bays are shallow, starting from 1-10 meters in depth and slowly dropping as they reach the outside walls of 40-50m in depth. *Unlimited house reef diving is available in Marsa Shagra Village and Marsa Nakari Village.

5 SHORE DIVES* (ZONE A) Our shore diving program offers guided dives to some of the local shore-based dive sites by either mini-bus or RIB (in Marsa Shagra Village and Marsa Nakari Village only). Easy access to the reef makes these areas ideal for shore based diving. From Shagra we are departing between 0700h to 0800h in the morning and 1330h to 1400h in the afternoon. From Nakari we are departing in the morning only. These dives are guided and the guide will give a briefing upon arrival at the site. *Shore diving is available in Marsa Shagra Village & Marsa Nakari Village. OFF-SHORE DIVING (ZONE B & C) This program allows divers to explore off-shore reefs by high-performance speedboat in Zone B and C. Each one of our villages offers its own unique boat diving program that covers many famous off-shore reefs. Some of the more popular include Elphinstone, which can be reached in average 20 minutes from Shagra (according to wind conditions). From Nakari Village daily boat dives are going to Shaab Samadai, (a.k.a. Dolphin House) and takes about 30 minutes. These are two of the many other off-shore dive sites that we are covering from our 3 villages. Important Note: Diving by boat/speedboat can only be booked on site because they are dependent on sea & weather conditions. DIVING EXCURSIONS Guest staying at Shagra or Nakari Village can enjoy an over day/night excursion to dive the Fury Shoals. Information and reservation are available upon arrival at the reception and the excursions are payable on site.

6 LAHAMI VILLAGE: Diving Programs Leisure / Classic / Dolphin Reef / Snorkel with dolphins / all diving & excursions by RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boats) Classic diving program includes 2 guided dives to the Fury Shoals plus an unguided afternoon and night dive on our house reefs per day (all diving and snorkeling by high-performance RIB). From Wadi Lahami we cover over 30 different dive sites, which include Shaab Maksour, Satayah, Abu Galawa, Shaab Claudia, and many others. This region is known as the Fury Shoals and is home to an enormous reef complex. The hard corals which make up the reef topography of the Fury Shoals are believed to be the one of best examples in the world. This is a great opportunity to dive the deep south, whilst having the freedom and flexibility of being land based. This place is for adventurous divers seeking the opportunity to discover pristine reefs in a no frills close to nature environment. Note: Diving in Lahami is suitable for any level diver. Divers with less than 20 logged dives and have not been diving within 6 months will be required to take a scuba review. For safety and comfort, those who have any back or other medical conditions should ensure they are prepared and fit for varying sea conditions which can make RIB diving a bit difficult during winter months. In winter months please bring a wind jacket and cap with you for the surface interval. GUIDING The diving team of Red Sea Diving Safari consists of PADI certified instructors and guides. Members of the divingteam have extensive language skills including Arabic, English, French, Italian, and German. The dive guide will provide a detailed briefing about the dive site and the local conditions of diving including information about marine life, standard diving procedures, and safety rules. Supervision of divers is provided according to experience, requests, and particularity of each dive site.

7 DIVING COURSES Our 3 villages are certified PADI resorts and we offer courses beginning from Discover Scuba Diving to Assistant Instructor. We are also the first TDI facility in the southern Red Sea. For further details about diving courses please see the village fact sheet. DIVING EQUIPMENT Full diving equipment can be hired on site and is included free of charge for the participants of the Open Water Course. We need to be informed about equipment requests prior to arrival (please indicate sizes for booties, wetsuits and BCD). Guests with their own equipment should bring thick soled booties, essential for shore based diving. Please note that alternate air source (octopus, or air2), SMB and diving computer are compulsory. 12L aluminum tanks with single valve, DIN or international, are available and stored in the compressor room. A supply of full tanks is always available in the diving shade for diving on the house reef. 15L tanks are available on request (additional charges apply). Nitrox enriched air cylinders (EAN up to %32) are available to certified Nitrox divers in Shagra, Nakari, and Wadi Lahami (additional charges apply). The Nitrox Users Qualifying Course is also offered upon request in all of our villages. RSDS PROVIDE IDC COURSES ONCE A YEAR. DIVER HEALTH & SAFETY Our villages have comprehensive medical & emergency protocols. There is a doctor at our hyperbaric medical center Baro-medical 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, in case of emergencies. Baro-Medical is our hyperbaric medical center located on the premises of Marsa Shagra Village. Red Sea Diving Safari is a member of Baro-Medical and guests are automatically insured for decompression treatment for a compulsory fee of 7 Euros. This insurance is valid for 14 days for diving accidents only. It includes 1 chamber treatment only (3 HBO sessions), doctor s fees, diagnosis, as well as equipment and medicines used in treatment. The program does not cover hospitalization or any means of transport of the injured person.

8 Important Note: we have found that the number one cause of stomach ache/sickness is dehydration. Getting dehydrated is easy to avoid by drinking less alcohol and caffeinated beverages and far more water than usual. Consumption of any alcoholic beverages before diving is prohibited. Local & International Diving Regulations/Safety Recommendations Red Sea Diving Safari is a PADI Diving Center, member of the Egyptian Chamber of Diving and Watersports and the Red Sea Diving Association. Our organization adheres to ISO standards and we enforce strict rules to ensure the safety of our guests. Red Sea Diving Safari reserves the right to deny any person from diving or accessing certain dive sites, according to their qualification levels and skills, as evaluated during the orientation dive. Please be informed that the following items are compulsory for each diver: Initial orientation dive obligatory Alternate air source Dive computer / depth gauge and table Surface marker buoy for all off-shore dives, nonguided dives, and house reef dives Important Note: All divers must dive within the limitations of their certification. Only CMAS 2* under direct supervision of an instructor, CMAS 3* divers and deep dive specialist/technical divers are permitted to dive past 30m. SNORKELING AND FREE DIVING All of our villages are suitable for snorkeling and equipment is available at the diving center. Guests of Shagra and Nakari also have the possibility to join some of the shore-based dives to visit other reefs in the area. We are also being visited by more and more individuals and groups of free divers who return each year because of the excellent organization, the level of safety, and the beautiful reef. There is a free dive station for the free divers.

We recommend that the guests take cash (Euro) with them for payment of any extras. For VISA or MasterCard a 3% bank fee will apply. TRANSFER Transfers to the villages are from Hurghada, Luxor or Marsa Alam airports (all include charter and local flights), where the Red Sea Diving Safari driver will meet the guests outside the terminal building.
