Call for a price quote on other options: Each pistol sent to the Springfield Custom Shop must be received with a detailed list (or custom worksheet) of the work to be performed. Any pistol received in the custom shop without a list of requested work, or a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number, will be returned. If you are unsure what work you want done, call or our office PRIOR to shipping.

4 Custom Gun Work Terms 1. We will work on any quality 1911-A1 style, XD, or XD(M) pistol. We reserve the right to refuse to work on any pistol determined to be of inferior quality or made unserviceable by any work performed by another person. 2. We use your pistol as collateral while the custom work is being completed; so no deposit is required. 3. Parts installed will match the finish of the handgun unless otherwise specified by the customer. 4. Please SEND any magazine(s) that will be used in the handgun. Please REMOVE all items not necessary for the custom work; for example, gun rugs, bushing wrenches, etc. 5. Your pistol will be test fired for function with quality factory loaded ammunition upon completion of the work. If you have a specific ammunition type you wish to be tested, please contact our office for instructions. 6. We recommend shipping to Springfield Custom by an insured shipper, such as UPS or Fed Ex. Ship to: Springfield Custom, 420 West Main St., Geneseo, IL Your custom work will not be scheduled until we have received the firearm and a signed work order form. Ask for details on our round trip shipping package through Fed Ex to get your handgun to our shop for work. 7. Payment may be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cashier s check, money order, or personal check. (Custom work or complete pistols, which are paid by personal check, may be held up to 21 days before shipment of the firearm.) 8. All work order changes on complete pistols or upgrades will be assessed a charge of $25 per change and could delay completion and delivery of the handgun. All change requests, for custom work or complete custom pistols, must be submitted in writing and be signed and dated by the customer. Return shipping and handling charges are not included in Springfield Custom pricing. An additional charge to cover return shipping and handling will be added to the invoice when the work is completed. 10. Due to federal government regulations, customer s firearms must be return shipped to the address from which they have been received. They can only be shipped to businesses, other than licensed firearms dealers, if the customer owns the business and that is clearly stated in the paperwork that accompanies the handgun to our shop. (If you have a change of home address during the time your pistol is in the shop, Springfield Custom must receive a written request with the new address, serial number of the pistol, return authorization number and customer s signature.) 11. Estimated completion times are just estimates. Due to scheduling, work flow, and other events beyond our control, these estimates are subject to change. We will do our best to quote you a reasonable time frame for completion of your custom pistol or work. 12. If you do not see a custom service listed on the preceding pages, please contact our office with your request. Since we have a full in-house custom shop, we are able to do just about anything you can dream to your handgun, within reason.
