Nonprofit Conference provides an exciting opportunity for nonprofit leaders, board members, staff and volunteers from throughout the U.P. to come together to learn, discuss and share common concerns and ideas that influence our communities. As a sponsor, you demonstrate your support and interest in the nonprofit organizations and the important programs and services they provide. Exclusive Platinum Conference and U.P. 3 Training Sponsorships GLCYD provides a variety of training opportunities for nonprofits across the Upper Peninsula. GLCYD provides nonprofit management and youth development expertise through a variety of ways including group trainings and one-on-one consulting. Training Series Sponsor $100 GLCYD provides a variety of trainings through in-person workshops and virtual webinars. Trainings are held across the Upper Peninsula and are open to all nonprofits. Sponsoring one training series includes company logo included on all promotional materials including flyer, two blasts, and training website page of glcyd.org, in addition to verbal recognition at the event. Scholarship Sponsor Varies Help a nonprofit from your area receive the training they want. The scholarship sponsor program allows nonprofits to attend GLCYD programs that are outside of their budgets. Scholarship sponsors can contribute to a general scholarship fund, or donations can be earmarked for specific nonprofit organizations. Conference Scholarship Sponsor $100 Training Sponsor $40 Consulting Sponsor Varies Scholarship sponsors receive verbal recognition at the event the recipient attends. A photo of the scholarship recipient attendee(s) recognizing the scholarship sponsors will be submitted to the closest daily newspaper. Philanthropic Advertising Interested in supporting more than one GLCYD program? Philanthropic advertising allows our corporate partners to craft a sponsorship bundle that reaches their target audience. Corporate partners receive discounts on program specific sponsorships, and have the opportunity for special occasions such as regional youth summits, newsletters, shirt sleeves, etc. For more information, please select the philanthropic advertising box on the sponsor form. 4 Excellence In Education Excellence in Education Week sponsors assist us in recognizing outstanding high school students and educators in Marquette and Alger counties. On Monday evening of Excellence in Education week, the top 5% of graduating seniors are recognized along with an educator they have selected as most influential to their academic success. In addition, 25 educators receive Professional Development Awards to support special projects in their classrooms or attend continuing education opportunities. Throughout the week, approximately 400 students will participate in local Days of Excellence. As an Excellence in Education program sponsor, your company will help fund the Excellence in Education celebration program held each year at Northern Michigan University. As a sponsor, you will receive the following recognition: Business name prominently displayed at the program Business name in the Excellence in Education program booklet Business name and photo in the newspaper Website link from Great Lakes Center For Youth Development to your business site for one year Complimentary Excellence in Education program invitation Excellence in Education framed certificate for your office There are four levels of sponsorship for the EEW program: Gold Sponsorship $5,000 Silver Sponsorship $3,000 Bronze Sponsorship $1,000 Copper Sponsorship $500 Business Tour Partner Students from school districts in Marquette and Alger counties celebrate a Day of Excellence during which they tour local businesses and learn about the educational requirements needed to fill positions in the respective companies. Business tour partners are featured in the Excellence in Education program booklet.
