1 Sponsorship Levels and Benefits Below please find an outline of the three levels of Inauguration sponsorships. Sponsorship benefits for each level include your personal or corporate name listed in printed and electronic materials, including the official Inaugural Program insert and official website. Acknowledgements also include a printed Sponsor Board at the Gaillard Center on Monday evening. Additionally, the Mayor will recognize each Sponsor individually during the speaking program at the Sponsor s Reception. 3 Outline of Events Thank you for your interest in serving as a Sponsor for the 2016 Charleston Inauguration Committee. Your generous support will enable us to fund every aspect of the Charleston Inaugural celebration. Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible in order for the citizens of Charleston to be truly engaged in the Inaugural activities. Inaugural Sponsors will receive regular updates during the event planning process. The outline of events for the Charleston Inaugural Committee currently includes the following: Saturday, January 9, :00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Family Day at Hampton Park A family-friendly day designed to engage citizens and community leaders. This event will be free and open to the public. 1:00 3:00 p.m. Live music and fun activities for the kids air castles, games, face-painting and other activities. Food trucks will be on site for local fare (food and non-alcoholic drinks will be for sale.) 3:00 5:00 p.m. Live music and entertainment. Check our website for details at Inaugural Sponsors are welcome to participate. Arrangements can be made to accommodate Sponsors schedules and special needs. Sponsors will be recognized at the event with Sponsor boards and through acknowledgements in the speaking program.

4 Monday, January 11, :00-2:00 p.m. Swearing-In Ceremony at City Hall This official City sponsored event will be free and open to the public. Inaugural Sponsors will be acknowledged at the event with a special printed insert in the Official Inaugural Program. Pre-program with live entertainment begins at 11:00 a.m. Second-line parade led by Charlton Singleton and the Lowcountry Voices from Church Street to City Hall at 11:45 a.m. Reception open to the public in Washington Square immediately following the ceremony. Business casual to business attire. 5:00 6:30 p.m. Sponsor s Reception at the Gaillard Center An elegant and festive affair to celebrate the Mayor and his vision for Charleston. A photo-line reception, heavy hors d oeuvres, open bar, special guest musical entertainment and a champagne toast will make for a very memorable evening. Cocktail attire. 6:30 p.m. Inaugural Concert in the Gaillard Performance Hall The hour-long Inaugural Concert will feature appearances and performances representing the spirit of Charleston by Charleston Spiritual Ensemble led by Lee Pringle, Ann Caldwell and other special guests to be announced. As part of their package, Sponsors will receive premium Dress Circle ticketed seating for the concert. 7:00 p.m. General Reception begins in the Gaillard Grand Ballroom Ticketed event featuring live performances by locally-known acts, dancing, light hors d oeuvres and cash bar.
