These assessments constitute 15% each (60% total) of their final grade. The exact timing of these assessments varies depending on the group and topic that the class teacher decides to set for the assessment. As guidance students normally complete three assessments in Year 10 (roughly 1 per term) and the remaining assessment in the autumn term of Year 11. Exact assessment dates are discussed by the class teacher with the group and parents are informed of assessment dates (once fixed) by .
