DRIVE BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA Summer Yuth Enrichment Applicatin Shilh Baptist Church Charitable Fundatin is spnsring a summer yuth wrk prgram. This prgram is designed fr yuth between the ages f 14 and 18 years ld. Thse accepted in the prgram have the pprtunity t spend 6 weeks during June and July btaining valuable wrk experience. In additin, participants receive a stipend. The prgram is funded by Shilh Missinary Baptist Church Charitable Fundatin. Students wrk Mnday thrugh Thursday 16 hurs a week at their placement sites and n Friday attend 4 hur life skills wrkshps. Tpics include self imprvement, leadership, cmmunity service and Bible Study. If yu are interested in this prgram, please neatly cmplete the attached applicatin and return it by the deadline. The applicatin perid is Wednesday, March 6, 2015 thrugh Wednesday, April 8, NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE WHICH IS 8:00 p.m. n APRIL 8, PLEASE RETURN COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TO THE FOUNDATION OFFICE. Interviews will be held at Shilh Missinary Baptist Church. Yu will be ntified when t cme t yur interview. Please submit yur cmpleted applicatin by the deadline and include all necessary infrmatin. Attendance recrds will be checked. Please nt the fllwing: Criteria: A member f Shilh Baptist Church. Actively invlved in at least ne yuth auxiliary/prgram. (Reference Letter) At least 14 years f age by June 1, Must have 70% participatin in Sunday schl and/r Yuth Bible Study. Must have a vcatinal interest. Must have a grade pint average f 2.0 r abve, (Cpy f semester grades required) Write a statement justifying vcatinal interest. Nn Shilh Members: Yu must have Sunday schl r Yuth Bible Study dcumented attendance recrds frm yur church. Actively invlved in at least ne yuth auxiliary/prgram (Reference letter required, this letter must include a phne number fr future cntact) At least 14 years f age by June 1, Must have 70% participatin in Sunday schl and/r Yuth Bible Study. Anytime during the six week perid that the participant has t be reprimanded fr any disciplinary actin, the participant will be dismissed immediately frm the prgram.
