2 1. Meeting Details An inaugural Caribbean Region Dialogue with the G20 Development Working Group will be held in Washington DC on Monday 13th April The Meeting will be held in Room HQ2 280 A/B, HQ2 Building, IMF Headquarters, Washington DC, at 14h00. A registration desk will be available outside the meeting room from 13h30. Following the conclusion of the meeting, the Turkish G20 Presidency for 2015, will host an evening reception for all participants. The venue for the reception will be the City View Lounge, 12 th Floor, IMF HQ2 Building. 2. Responsibility for Meeting Arrangements The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (CBTT) will make all logistical and meeting arrangements for the meeting. The contact person at the CBTT will be Dr. Cyrus Rustomjee, and tel.: Registration Process and Accessing Documentation There are two simple steps to complete registration and to access the meeting documents. Firstly all participants will need to register for the meeting, by completing a Meeting Registration Form. The Meeting Registration Form has been provided with your meeting invitation letter. To help us finalise meeting arrangements we request all participants to complete the Registration Form, which takes only a few minutes to complete, and to it to at the very latest by 13 th March Once registered, participants will be able to access all meeting documentation online through the meeting website for the Caribbean Region Dialogue with the G20 Development Working Group. The CBTT will send each registered participant an invitation to access this secure website. Accessing it for the first time is simple, requiring accepting the invitation from the CBTT, providing name & contact address, and selecting a username and password. Accessing it thereafter will simply require you to provide your username and password. All of this information and these details will also be provided in the invitation to access the secure meeting website, sent by the CBTT. 4. Access to the World Bank and IMF Buildings Please note that the Caribbean Region Dialogue with the G20 Development Working Group will take place at the IMF headquarters in Washington DC, USA. This location is within the perimeter area designated for the World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings. Passes to access the IMF and World Bank buildings are issued by the IMF and World Bank. Consequently all participants will also require to separately register for the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings. For further details on how to register please refer to the World Bank and IMF 2015 Spring Meetings registration section, which can be found at: 5. Meeting documentation Meeting documentation will be uploaded to the meeting website from 18 March 2

3 2015. Please note that no hard copies of the documentation will be provided at the meeting itself. Documentation will include a provisional agenda, background and discussion documents and a provisional list of attendees. 6. Visas Travel, Accommodation and Meals: Arrangements and Costs (a) Visas: The Meeting will be held in Washington DC, United States of America. Participants are advised to check visa requirements for entry to the United States of America with their local United States Embassy or Consulate. Participants are also advised to check and if necessary secure visas for any countries through which participants may travel, en route to and from the United States. The United States Governments website: may also provide pertinent information on visas requirements for entry to the USA. (b) Accommodation, Transport and Meals: Participants will be responsible for meeting all costs of their participation at the Caribbean Region Dialogue with the G20 Development Working Group. This includes all accommodation, transport and meal costs. All participants should make their own accommodation arrangements in Washington DC. A list of hotels in the Washington DC area, together with contact details, is also provided at the end of this note, for participants convenience. (c) Travel for Sponsored Participants: The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago will sponsor air travel (economy class from the participants by the most direct route) for one participant per Caribbean country representative participating in the meeting. The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago will make bookings for or will reimburse these costs. Where sponsorship has been offered, details have been included in your invitation letter. For travel queries please contact (d) Accommodation for Sponsored Participants: The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago will sponsor the accommodation, meals and incidental costs for one participant per Caribbean country representative participating in the meeting and will provide an allowance of USD 390 per night for up to a maximum of two nights. This allowance will be provided to participants at the meeting. For participants wishing to receive this allowance prior to travel to Washington DC, please contact Please note that all allowances provided will require to be reimbursed if participants are unable to attend the meeting. Participants sponsored by the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago will need to make their own accommodation bookings for Washington DC. A list of hotels in the Washington DC area, together with contact details, is also provided at the end of this note, for participants convenience. (c) Visa, Travel and Accommodation Costs for all other Participants: for all other participants, all visa costs, costs of travel to Washington DC and costs of accommodation in Washington DC will be borne by participants; and participants will be expected to settle these directly. 7. Local Information a) Health and Medical All participants at the meeting are responsible for obtaining any necessary vaccinations and for fulfilling all other health requirements for entry to the United 3

4 States. Participants are urged to obtain the necessary information from their local US Embassy or consulate. The costs of emergency travel and medical health care can be significant and all participants are advised to obtain travel and health insurance to cover all necessary medical expenses. 4
