3 How to get to MiCo For Gate 15 "Via Gattamelata" entrance BY AIR Linate Take bus no. 73 in the "National Arrivals Exit" area all the way to the terminal in Piazza San Babila, where the Metro to "Cadorna" is. Malpensa The MALPENSA EXPRESS train service will take you directly from the airport to the centre of Milan in 40 minutes, arriving at the Ferrovie Nord Cadorna station. Orio al Serio The AUTOSTRADALE or AIR PULLMAN bus service will take you directly from the airport to Milan Central Station in 60 minutes. BY TRAIN Central Station and Garibaldi Station Take the Metro Green Line 2 (Abbiategrasso direction) and get off at Cadorna. Here take the Metro Red Line 1 (Rho Fiera Milano direction). Get off at Cadorna, exit the subway and go to the railroad station above: take the first train departing and get off at Domodossola just 600 m from the Congress Centre. BY CAR From any of the ring roads circling Milan follow the signs to Fieramilanocity, or to any of the large Park & Ride car parks located close to these Metro stops: Cascina Gobba (1800 cars) Green Line San Donato (1800 cars) Yellow Line Bisceglie (1900 cars) Red Line Lampugnano (2000 cars) Red Line Famagosta (3000 cars) Green Line Please remind that there will be the Underground Parking into the MiCo during the Event days. BY METRO From Cadorna, exit the subway and go to the railroad station above: take the first train departing and get off at Domodossola just 600 m from the Congress Centre. The closest metro station to the fairground is "Portello", Lilac Line 5. 2
4 A-Z INFORMATION A Accommodation See Useful Documents section in the Exhibitor Manual for a list of local hotels. Animals Animals are not permitted anywhere in the exhibition centre. Audiovisual Tel: B Badges (e-badges) Build-up/Breakdown All people and vehicles requiring access during build-up and breakdown must register with Fiera Milano Congressi to obtain an access pass. See Order Form section in the Exhibitor Manual. To register on site, please go to the MiCo Office at Gate 13. Exhibition days Exhibitor badges are free of charge and allow the stand personnel free entry to the exhibition. The allocation of badges to third parties is strictly prohibited. Badges will not be posted. After completing the online order using the link in the Exhibitor Registration Portal via the Exhibitor Zone on the Fastener website, you will receive a confirmation with a link to your E-Badge. Please ensure that your E-Badge is folded along the dotted lines indicated on the E-Badge. Badge holders will be provided on-site. C Carpet/Floor Coverings 3 Cash Point An ATM machine will be accessible either in the venue or nearby, the exact location will be advised nearer to the show dates. Catalogues An envelope containing a free copy of the Show catalogue will be delivered to each stand on the evening of the last day of build-up. Children Children are not permitted in the halls during buildup and breakdown for safety reasons. Please refer to the MiCo Technical Regulation in their entirety and in particular to point 2.1. On Show days, children and young people under the age of 15 may only enter the site if accompanied by a person having parental control over them. A Responsibility Form must be signed before entering the site. E Electrical Installations / Electricity Supply Each stand will be guaranteed 3 kw of electrical consumption (electrical equipment not included). Additional kw can be purchased via the Order Form section in the Exhibitor Manual: Electricity Services kw Extra. All stand builders who require electrical services must apply for the compulsory Inspection Service. See order form section in the Exhibitor Manual. Emergency Police: 113 Fire Brigade: 115 Ambulance: 118 F Fire Extinguishers According to Italian regulations, each stand must be equipped with 1 fire extinguisher per 50 m². Fire Prevention Declaration All space only exhibitors must submit the SICU form and attachments. See Useful Documents section in the Exhibitor Manual. First Aid The First Aid room is located on the ground floor of the North Wing. Unless exhibitors complete form Ins or serve their own declaration to MiCo as per point 6.c on form Ins, they will not be granted access to the hall. Internet/WIFI Basic Wifi is available in the exhibition hall. Should exhibitors require a higher specification, please refer to the IT Services in the Order Form section of the Exhibitor Manual. 4

M Manning of the Stand Exhibitors are obliged to be present on their stands during exhibition open hours and display registered exhibits. Stands may not be dismantled before the official closing of the exhibition. Musical Reproduction / Copyright Exhibitors are asked to limit the running of noisy machinery to fixed demonstration periods and to keep the sound of AV equipment or music to an acceptable level. The Organisers reserve the right to curtail or ban demonstrations if complaints are received. It is mandatory for Exhibitors who wish to have musical presentations on their stand to apply for a permit with S.I.A.E. S.I.A.E. The Offices will be staffed throughout the build-up, exhibition open days and breakdown. It is possible to buy passes in advance via the Exhibitor Manual. See Order Form section. For build-up and breakdown see Site Map at the beginning of this document. 5 Partition Walls Exhibitors who have not ordered a shell scheme stand from the Organisers must supply fire resistant floor covering and partition walls of a minimum height of 2.5 m to the perimeter of their stand where they adjoin another stand or the wall of the exhibition hall. Under no circumstances may Exhibitors use the reverse side of walls of neighbouring stands. Photography & Video Recordings Filming, photographing and reproduction sketching of stands and in particular of exhibits is only permitted, even for private use, if the exhibitor in question has given definite permission beforehand. If films or photographs or sketches are intended for commercial use, it is also necessary to seek written permission from the Organisers. The individual security of stands and exhibits lies within the responsibility of each Exhibitor. Valuables should be locked away overnight and you may want to hire a security guard especially for the night before the show opening and during the first night of breakdown. Please complete the relevant order form in the Exhibitor Manual if you require a security guard on your stand. See Order Form section. Shell Scheme Stands For further information on shell scheme stands, please see Shell Scheme specs sheet in the Useful Documents section in the Exhibitor Manual. Exhibitors who have booked a shell scheme stand with the Organisers are requested to fill in the relevant order form and indicate the company name they wish to display in their fasica board. Should the Exhibitor fail to submit the order form, fascia boards will carry the company name as indicated on the stand space contract. Space Only Stands If you have not already done so, please send your stand design plans for approval as soon as possible to: Fax: Stands without stand construction approval from Fiera Milano Congressi will not be permitted to access the hall and build up. Stand Catering Compass Group Fabio Marrale Tel: Fabio.marrale@compass-group.it Stand Cleaning Daily basic stand cleaning for Exhibitors during the exhibition is included in the contract with the Organisers and will take place before the exhibition opens. This includes vacuuming and waste removal but does not include cleaning of exhibits. Exhibitors who have special cleaning requirements or require a skip should contact the appointed cleaning 6 contractor. Excessive waste, abandoned stand fitting materials and hazardous waste left on the stand will incur a charge of removal. Stand Parties As long as all relevant regulations are observed (please refer carefully to section on the MiCo Technical Regulations; See Exhibitor Manual) stand parties can be held daily during show opening hours by applying directly to Fiera Milano Congressi. Stand parties after show closing are subject to prior approval by the Organisers who must be notified at least seven days in advance. Only your booked stand space can be utilised for entertaining. Tables, chairs and other furniture may not be placed in the aisle at any time. The Exhibitor must ensure that guests remain on his stand and that they do not access other exhibitors stands. We request that the volume of live or pre-recorded musical renditions is kept at an acceptable level so that stand neighbours are not disrupted. T Taxi A taxi rank is located in front of gate 15. Tel: Temporary Staff/Interpreters Toilets Located in the hall. V Vehicle Access Vehicles are not allowed into the hall. Only forklifts belonging to the official forwarder EXPOTRANS are granted access into the hall. Parking in the free parking area near the hall must be restricted to the short period of time required for the offloading and loading of goods and equipment. See maps at the beginning of the document.
8 Venue MiCo Milano Congressi North Wing, Gate 15 via Gattamelata, Milan Italy W Waste Disposal Exhibitors are reminded that they are responsible for the removal of all waste during build-up and breakdown. On exhibition days, stands may be cleaned an hour before the opening of the show. After this time, no refuse of any kind may be deposited outside the stand. The Exhibitor may be charged if waste is found on the stand after his departure from the hall. For additional waste disposal please book this service via the Exhibitor Manual. Water Connections & Compressed Air Only the exclusive contractor of Fiera Milano Congressi is permitted to undertake water / compressed air connections.
