7 Caribbean Consultant Performance Standards The ability to look at the behavioural aspects of performance has not kept pace with the capacity to understand, measure and value the educational, technical, functional and specialist knowledge required for consulting. There is a risk of measuring performance and certification mainly from an educational, functional knowledge,technical or engagement summary perspective. Possibility of missing out on an over-arching critical success factor behaviour, or the soft side of real effective consultant performance. Given the infant stage of the Institute and the development requirements of its members, this risk can be minimised by, high fidelity, objective feedback on behavioural competency development. This will require an up skilling and benchmarking of CICMC Assessors and Mentors with a focus on customer (member) service This will ensure the maintenance of International Brand Integrity and the high standards of CMC and CICMC
