The renowned family-run Gasthof Hotel Post is centrally located in the small village of Strass in Erste Ferienregion Zillertal and awaits you with single, double and family rooms in elegant Tyrolean style. In the building opposite our main house we offer fully equipped apartments. Outside the holiday periods Gasthof Hotel Post is particularly suited for business travellers who especially profit from the central situation. Pleasures such as Wifi and the possibility to have breakfast as early as from 6:30am, make a stay particularly attractive for business people. The Gasthof Post restaurant promises both traditional cuisine and Zillertaler specialities in cosy guest rooms. Thomas Oberndorfer, our chef de cuisine of many years, almost exclusively uses own, organic produce and many local guests enjoy it too. Our bright and comfortable hotel rooms come with shower, WC, hair dryer, radio,, satellite,, Wifi. Some also have a balcony with a wonderful view of the Zillertaler mountains. In summer Strass in Erste Ferienregion Zillertal is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and bicycle tours as the hotel is directly located at the Zillertal and Inn valley bicycle trails. Due to the excellent situation of Strass you can even reach Tyrol s most beautiful day-trip destinations such as Achensee, Innsbruck and Kufstein without car fast and comfortably. In the cold season the Zillertal is an absolute paradise for winter sports fans. The ski bus stop is directly in front of the house and the free bus takes you and your family to the popular skiing resort of Hochfügen - Hochzillertal in less than 15min.
