Canal Tour Again this year Canal Tours offers the legendary Grand Tour of Copenhagen, where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful sightseeing tour around the harbor and canals of Copenhagen. 2 Canal Tour with Operetta If you are in Copenhagen in the end of July/beginning of August you can try our popular Operetta-tours. The program contains both Danish and international songs from known and less known operettas, performed by some of the most talented Danish opera and operetta artists. The tour lasts approximately 70 min and costs 150 DKK ( 22). If you want to see Copenhagen's Palaces and Museums by bus and then experience the city like the Mermaid does from the water, with a cool breeze in your hair and fresh air in your lungs you should join our Open Top Tours with Hop on-hop off service. During the 24 hour validity of the ticket you can hop on and off as much as you like on both the bus and the boat. You decide which sights call for further exploration. 4 Sightseeing bus The easily recognizable red double decker busses are known worldwide and they are also present in Copenhagen. So if you prefer to discover the city at your own pace Copenhagen City Sightseeing is the right choice for you. During the summer season we offer two different tours: the Mermaid Tour and the Carlsberg Tour. You can hop on and off as much as you like within the 24 hour validity of the ticket. In case of bad weather a protective roof will cover these open top busses. The most important sights on the routes are Nyhavn, Amalienborg Palace, Strøget Scandinavias longest pedestrian street, Carlsberg and the Little Mermaid. 5 Guided visit to the Castles Denmark is known as the little fairytale country in the north of Europe. This is where kings and queens live in beautiful castles and Once upon a time is actually not just the beginning of a fairytale this is perfectly true. The last stop on the tour is Frederiksborg Castle, built by the legendary Danish King Christian IV Christian IV in the 17 th century demonstrating the best of Renaissance architecture and craftsmanship. Frederiksborg Castle is as beautiful on the inside as on the outside and is rich on details. It houses one impressing chamber after the other: from the astonishing Marble Gallery to the Banquet Hall, and is surrounded by the wonderful castle gardens including an English style romantic garden and a more formal French baroque garden.
