2 CILWW s New Freedom Transportation Programs Local Mobility Management Ø Work and collaborate with local transportation programs Ø Serve on committees Ø Transportation planning with transportation stakeholders Regional Transportation Coordination Ø Coordinate meetings for West WI Regional Transportation Coordinating Committee (WWRTCC) 3 meetings held yearly in River Falls, Menomonie, Eau Claire Ø Coordinate Region Driver Trainings Attendance average100 drivers from 10 counties Ø Surveys for low income, elderly, disabled, veteran riders Ø Surveys for Managed Care Organizations and Veteran Service Officers Volunteer Driver Program Ø 120 Volunteer Drivers in 18 Counties Most are regional Transportation contracts in the following counties; Eau Claire, Chippewa, Clark, Rusk, Barron, Polk, St. Croix, Pierce, Dunn, Pepin, Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer, Price, Iron, Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas Ø Average over 20,845 rides per year - mostly rural Ø Have transported over 2,500 persons with disabilities and frail elderly Ø Have given over 114,646 rides since operations began in August of 2008 Voucher Program Ø Must have available drivers and have a temporary need Looking for work, starting employment, training for employment Ø Driver can be relative, neighbor, co-worker, friend Ø CILWW staff meet directly with consumer to establish transportation goals Ø Over 100 consumers have been enrolled
3 W W R T C C Western Wisconsin Regional Transportation Coordinating Committee (WWRTCC) is dedicated to implementation of coordinated multi-county responsive, affordable, accessible, transportation for everyone. WWRTCC is comprised of citizens, public and private transportation providers, public officials, disability organizations, regional planners, community agencies, managed care organizations, employers and others interested in increasing transportation options in Western Wisconsin.

7 Veteran Transportation Committee Mission Statement To improve the quality of life for veterans and their families through a coordinated, 18-county veterans transportation program which eliminates barriers and service duplication, and improves access to health care and other transportation needs. The committee will continue to meet to discuss transportation options, coordination and finding solutions to transportation barriers for veterans and their families.
