1 ASSET SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR POSITION DESCRIPTION Psitin Title: Respnsible T: Cuncil Prgram: Asset Systems Administratr Team Leader, Asset Infrmatin Services Infrastructure Classificatin Level: Salaried, Level 7 Overview f Prgram The Infrastructure Management Prgram will ensure that Cuncil s assets effectively deliver multiple place utcmes. Key Relatinships / Interactins Internal External Staff members acrss the Infrastructure Prgram Adelaide City Cuncil (ACC) staff members acrss all Prtflis and Prgrams Lcal Gvernment and State Gvernment bdies Service prviders, suppliers and cntractrs

2 Primary Purpse Respnsibilities As part f the Infrastructure Prgram the Asset Systems Administratr will; Manage the develpment, peratin and utilisatin f the rganisatin s asset management systems Manage the administratin f all aspects f the crprate asset management systems and develp strategies fr crprate asset management systems Manage the develpment f data management prcesses and standards and ensure data gvernance prcesses are in place fr asset data integrity. Be respnsible fr prcess review, change and re-engineering within the team and rganisatin generally t achieve best value asset systems. Ensure apprpriate level f engagement and supprt is prvided t different departments at cuncil t drive system use and applicatin. Ensure all asset classes are managed apprpriately within the asset system and detailed reprting and infrmatin is available t meet the needs f asset planning and peratins. Generate all required plans, standards, plicies and prcedures t ensure the rbust peratin and use f asset systems. Direct, supprt and perfrmance manage the team with a view t maximising the quality, effectiveness and timeliness f services within the team. The Asset Systems Administratr is respnsible fr; The effective engagement with the Team Leader Asset Systems as required t supprt the end t end asset management philsphy f the crpratin and effective whle f life management f the Crpratin s Asset Prtfli t deliver the bjectives determined by Cuncil and reflected in the Business Plan. Operatin f the Crpratin s Asset System including: Meeting client and system requirements. Prmting the benefits f the Crpratins asset systems. Managing and develping the GIS and mbile slutins. Undertaking prcess reviews and implement change management initiatives as required t supprt the system in delivering a quality asset management utcme. Ensure data integrity and usage f the Crpratins Asset System including; Prcesses and prcedures are develped and fllwed fr the recrding and maintenance f assets. Supprting the prcesses necessary t ensure crss system integratin f data. Develping, implementing and supprting the peratin and use f the Crpratins Asset System t achieve a mbile system including user engagement and develpment. Develp prcesses and instigate peratinal reviews t ensure data captured is centralised int asset systems. Supprting the analytical requirements f the asset system including data maintenance and reprting fr all requirements. Ensuring business prcess imprvement pprtunities and efficiencies are identified and actined thrugh benchmarking and the nging review f existing systems, plicy, guidelines and perfrmance targets.
