Class placements will be indicated on Report Cards to be sent home June 28 th.

2 Parent Council News We are gearing up for our annual BBQ to be held on Wednesday, June 15 th. This annual event will include two bouncers, face painting and a story-time. To speed up being served, be sure to pre-order your meal using the form sent home. Pre-orders are due on June 6. Food items will also be available to order at the BBQ. PHYS ED NEWS: A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our cross-country runners that participated in the Divisional Cross Country meet at Little Mountain Park. Also a BIG THANK YOU to our Cross Country Coach, Ms. Taylor. WOW, WOW, WOW... our 9 th Annual Jump Rope for Heart & Stroke was once again a great success. This year we raised $1100 Thank you for participating in the Jump Rope for Heart Program this school year. You are HEART HEROS in our eyes!!!! On May 14 th our grade 4 & 5 students participated in our Annual Dual Track & Field Meet held at West Kildonan Collegiate. A BIG THUMBS UP to our grade 4 / 5 students, West Kildonan Leadership Students, and staff for making the day a huge success. On May 30, 25 grade 4 & 5 students represented Collicutt at the Divisional Track & Field Meet held at West Kildonan Collegiate. Congratulations to all our athletes!

3 2016 / 2017 Staff Update Ms. Lees returns to the music class and support role. Thank you and congratulations to Ms. Armstrong who will be at Riverbend School. Mrs. Oliver is moving to Garden City Collegiate as Library Technician and we welcome Mrs. Rose to our Collicutt Library. We will provide a full staff roster later in the month. 5 During the month of May each class endeavored to take learning outside into nature for at least 30 minutes a day. In June Room 8 and Kindergarten paln to learn outside for at least one full week. Learning about and in nature helps children care about the environment.
