It selected the combination of CRM, Convergent Mediation and Convergent Charging. Proof of concept related screenshot not the final implementation The Convergent Mediation solution is used to cache the information contained in the CRM system, so that all eligibility checks on vouchers are done in a fast and reliable way thanks to the Usage Management. It interfaces with the Point of Sales or Ticket Vending Machines, Convergent Charging and the CRM (which is the master of all information). This involved reconciliation of in and out events, as well as simple rules (if a car re-enters a highway less than 10 minutes after having left it, it is not eligible for further discount ). Implementing Convergent Mediation in front of Convergent Charging proved that any situation could be handled with a short time to market. This company is the newest operation (greenfield) within a large telco company. In June 2013, this provider was selected as one of the two successful applicants to be awarded a 3G telecommunication license in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. This telecom provider will offer a wide range of mobile communications services beyond voice and data to improve the lives of Myanmar consumers and help businesses run more efficiently. This will include the development of a comprehensive portfolio of life enriching services including mobile money services, a range of mobile health services, and services to support farmers and agriculture leveraging on its experience in launching those services in other markets.
