5 Microsoft Lync 2013 Ignite Lab: Configuring Coexistence & Interoperability with Microsoft Lync 2013 During this lab, you will perform several tasks related to managing coexistence with Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Lync Server 2013, and Exchange 2013 Unified Messaging and Outlook Web App. Estimated time to complete: 60 minutes Before You Begin To complete this lab, you need to have completed Lab 01 and Lab 02. What You Will Learn After completing this lab, you will be able to configure coexistence between Lync Server 2013, Lync Server 2010, and Exchange After completing the exercises, you will be able to: Configure Integration with Lync Server and Exchange 2013 Unified Messaging. Configure Integration with Outlook Web App Experience coexistence. Explore the new client. Scenario With Lync Server 2013 installed and deployed externally, you are now ready to configure coexistence between Lync Server 2013 and Lync Server You will also integrate Lync Server users with Microsoft Exchange 2013 Unified Messaging (UM) by running the EXCHUCUTIL.PS1 script and with Outlook Web App

6 Lab 03: Configuring Coexistence & Interoperability with Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Exercise 1: Configuring Integration with Exchange 2013 Unified Messaging In this exercise, you will configure integration between Lync Server and Exchange 2013 UM. You already have Exchange 2013 Unified Messaging deployed and configured. You will first run the ExchUcUtil.ps1 script, and then run the Exchange UM Integration Utility. Lastly, you will configure users for Exchange Unified Messaging and move users from Lync Server 2010 to Lync Server Tasks 1. Configure the Autodiscover URL in Lync a. On LSFE01, place the mouse pointer in the bottom left corner to bring up the Start button. b. Click Start, and then click Lync Server Management Shell. c. In the Lync Server Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter. Set-CsOAuthConfiguration -Identity global - ExchangeAutodiscoverUrl " 2. Run the ExchUcUtil.ps1 script. a. On EX01, on the Start bar, click the Exchange Management Shell icon. Wait while the Exchange Management Shell opens. b. In the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: CD C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Scripts c. In the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter:.\ExchUCUtil.ps1 d. When the command finishes, rerun the.\exchucutil.ps1 command again. This time the DialPlans column will show as Redmond, Rome for each pool, as shown in the following image. 2

7 Microsoft Lync 2013 Ignite 3. Use OCSUMUTIL to configure Lync Server a. On LSFE01, place the mouse pointer in the bottom left corner to bring up the Start button. b. Click Start, type Command and then press Enter. c. At the command prompt, type the following command and then press Enter: cd c:\program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2013\Support d. At the command prompt, type the following command and then press Enter: OcsUMUtil.exe Wait for the tool to load. e. In the Exchange UM Integration Utility, click Load Data. f. Under SIP Dial Plans, click Redmond.onprem.local. Notice that there is an error stating that there is no corresponding contact object in Lync. g. Close the Exchange UM Integration Utility. h. At the command prompt, type the following command and then press Enter: OcsUMUtil /domain:onprem123.lyncignite.biz Wait for the tool to finish. You can safely ignore any warnings. i. At the command prompt, type the following command and then press Enter: OcsUMUtil.exe j. Wait for the tool to load. k. In the Exchange UM Integration Utility, click Load Data again. l. Under SIP Dial Plans, click each of the dial plans listed. Notice that the error is now gone because the contact objects exist. m. Close the OcsUMUtil window. 4. Enable Users for Exchange Unified Messaging. a. On EX01, in the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: Enable-UmMailbox Identity onprem\holly UmMailboxPolicy Redmond Default Policy Extensions 4104 PIN PINExpired $False b. In the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: 3

In the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: Enable-UmMailbox Identity onprem\preeda UmMailboxPolicy Rome Default Policy Extensions 3101 PIN PINExpired $False d. In the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: Enable-UmMailbox Identity onprem\nuno UmMailboxPolicy Rome Default Policy Extensions 3102 PIN PINExpired $False e. In the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: Restart-Service MSExchangeUM 5. Move users to Lync Server You will now use the Lync Server Control Panel to move Lync Server 2010 users to Lync Server All configurations can be done from the Lync 2013 Control Panel, Management Shell, and Topology Builder. a. On LSFE01, place the mouse pointer in the bottom left corner to bring up the Start button. b. Click Start, and then click Lync Server Control Panel. c. On the Select URL prompt, click and then click OK. d. At the Windows Security prompt, in the User name box, type administrator. e. In the Password box, type Lync!gnit3 and then click OK. f. In the Lync Server Control Panel, in the navigation pane, click Users. g. Click the Find button. You will see all of the Lync Server 2010 enabled users. h. Press and hold the Ctrl key and then click Bob, Holly, and John. i. On the toolbar, click the Action menu, and then click Move selected users to pool. j. In the Move users window, in the Destination registrar pool menu, select redpool.onprem.local(lync Server 2013), and then click OK. 4

9 Microsoft Lync 2013 Ignite k. Back in Users, press and hold the Ctrl key, and then click Nuno and Peter. l. On the toolbar, click the Action menu, and then click Move selected users to pool. m. In the Move users window, in the Destination registrar pool menu, select romepool.onprem.local(lync Server 2013), and then click OK. 5

10 Lab 03: Configuring Coexistence & Interoperability with Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Exercise 2: Configuring Integration with Microsoft Outlook Web App 2013 In this exercise, you will configure integration between Lync Server and Exchange 2013 Outlook Web App Microsoft Lync Server 2013 can be fully integrated with Microsoft Outlook Web App 2013; among other things, this adds instant messaging and presence to Outlook Web Access (OWA), and enables your unified contact list to be shared between OWA and Microsoft Lync Tasks 1. Create a Trusted Application Pool a. On LSFE01, in the Lync Server Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter. New-CsTrustedApplicationPool -Identity ex01.onprem.local - Registrar redpool.onprem.local -Site Onprem - RequiresReplication $False b. In the Lync Server Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter. New-CsTrustedApplication -ApplicationId OutlookWebAccess - TrustedApplicationPoolFqdn ex01.onprem.local -Port 5199 c. In the Lync Server Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter. Enable-CsTopology 2. Enable Unified Contact Store. a. On LSFE01, in the Lync Server Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter. Set-CsUserServicesPolicy Identity Global UcsAllowed:$True 3. Configure the Outlook Web App. a. On EX01, in the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter. Get-OwaVirtualDirectory Set-OwaVirtualDirectory - InstantMessagingEnable $True -InstantMessagingType OCS 4. Edit the Web.Config file. a. On EX01, in the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: Get-ExchangeCertificate 6

In the results of the above command, highlight and make a copy of the Thumbprint for the Certificate with the Subject that starts CN=ex01.onprem.local, OU=Onprem, O-IT, L=Redmond, S=Washington, as shown in the following image. c. Start File Explorer. d. Browse to C:\LabFiles and open OwaIntegration.txt. e. In Notepad, copy the thumbprint into line one replacing the CopyThumbprintInTheseQuotes text, as shown in the following image. f. Press Ctrl+A and then press Ctrl+C to make a copy of the entire contents. g. Close Notepad. h. In File Explorer, browse to C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\ClientAccess\Owa and open web.config using Notepad. i. In Notepad, do a search for <appsettings> j. Add the copied lines directly below the found <appsettings> line, when finished it should look like the following image. k. Save your changes and close the web.config file. l. In the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: C:\Windows\System32\Inetsrv\Appcmd.exe recycle apppool /apppool.name:"msexchangeowaapppool" 5. Configure Instant Messaging for the Outlook Web Access Policies a. In On EX01, in the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: 7

Configure Lync 2013 to be a Partner Application for Exchange a. On EX01, in the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter..\Configure-EnterprisePartnerApplication.ps1 - AuthMetaDataUrl ' - ApplicationType Lync b. In the Exchange Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter: Iisreset ex01.onprem.local 7. Configure Exchange 2013 to be a Partner Application for Lync a. On LSFE01, in the Lync Server Management Shell, type the following command and then press Enter. New-CsPartnerApplication -Identity Exchange - ApplicationTrustLevel Full -MetadataUrl " 8

13 Microsoft Lync 2013 Ignite Exercise 3: Experiencing Lync 2013 Calling In this exercise, you will experience Lync 2013 and its calling features, and verify calling has been properly configured. NOTE: These steps should be performed using the hollaunchpad application, as the hollaunchpad will allow the microphone to be redirected to the lab virtual machines. When launching and exiting the hollaunchpad, be careful to ensure you do not accidentally discard your current lab session always select Yes to resume your session or Retain Current Session upon entering or exiting the hollaunchpad. Tasks 1. Start the PSTN Emulator on DC01. a. On DC01, double-click the Start PSTN Emulator desktop shortcut. A command window will open and remain open. Check this window after each time you dial the PSTN from one of the clients. You will see the number you called scroll by in the window, as shown in the following image. 2. Log on to Lync 2013 on CLIENT03. You will log on to Lync 2013 as a Lync 2013 user. a. On CLIENT03, on the Start bar, click the Lync 2013 icon. b. Close the Activate Office prompt. c. If prompted with a We are unable to connect right now or Activate Office prompt, close it. d. Verify that Holly is able to log on successfully. 9

14 Lab 03: Configuring Coexistence & Interoperability with Microsoft Lync Server Log on to Lync 2013 on CLIENT01. a. On CLIENT01, on the Start bar, click the Lync 2013 icon. b. Close the We are unable to connect right now prompt. c. In Lync 2013, in the Sign-in address box type and then click Sign In. d. In the Password box, type Password1 and then click Sign In. e. At the Do you want us to save your Lync sign-in info prompt, click Yes. f. Verify John is able to successfully login. 4. Log on to Lync 2010 on CLIENT02. a. On CLIENT02, on the Start bar, click the Lync 2010 icon. Verify Preeda is able to log on successfully. b. In Lync 2010, signed in as Preeda Ola, in the Find a contact or dial phone number box, type 4104 Watch as the number is normalized to +1 (425) Make a call from CLIENT01. a. On CLIENT01, in Lync 2013, in the Find someone or dial a number box, type Notice it gets normalized here as well. b. Point to the phone icon next to the normalized number and then click the Call icon to make a call. 6. Answer the Call on CLIENT03. a. On CLIENT03, notice the call prompt coming in from John Woods. b. Click the Phone icon to answer the audio call. c. When the call connects, have a brief conversation and then end the call. This shows Lync calling working for external users. d. In Lync 2013, on CLIENT03, dial , point the mouse over the phone icon next to the normalized number, and then click the Call icon to initiate the call. e. Verify the call goes through to the Emulator on DC01. 10

15 Microsoft Lync 2013 Ignite When the call connects, you should hear the Windows log off WAV file played repeatedly, and you should see output results similar to the following in the emulator window on DC01. Figure 1: Example of emulator window results If the call fails, retry the call. If it still fails, restart the Mediation Service on LS2010, LSFE01 and LSFE02. f. Disconnect the call. This shows external PSTN dialing working correctly for Lync 2013 users. 7. Configure Phone Numbers for Holly Holt. a. On CLIENT03, in Lync 2013, click the Options cog. b. In Lync Options, click the Phones tab. c. On the Phones tab, click Work Phone. d. In the Edit Phone Number window, in the Phone number box, type and then click OK. e. Click Mobile Phone. f. In the Edit Phone Number window, in the Phone number box, type and then click OK. g. Click Home Phone. h. In the Edit Phone Number window, in the Phone number box, type and then click OK. i. Back in Lync - Options, verify Include in my contact card is selected for each phone number, and then click OK. 8. Configure Contacts a. On CLIENT01, in Lync 2013, click the Contacts tab, in the Find someone or dial a number box, type Holly Holt 11

16 Lab 03: Configuring Coexistence & Interoperability with Microsoft Lync Server 2013 When the name resolves, notice it shows her presence. b. Right-click her name and then click Add to Favorites. If the name fails to resolve, type and add her as a favorite contact. This may happen due to the amount of time it takes for the clients to download the address book. c. Repeat these steps to add Preeda Ola and Bob Kelly as contacts. d. On all three clients, add each of the three users as contacts for each other. e. On CLIENT03, in Lync 2013, right-click John Woods, click Change Privacy Relationship, and then click Workgroup. 9. Leave a Voice Mail. a. On CLIENT01, in Lync 2013, on the Contacts tab, point the mouse to Holly Holt, and click the Phone icon to start a Lync Call. Do not answer the call, wait for it to go to Holly s voice mail box. If this call fails, you may have to wait several minutes to this feature to work. b. When prompted, leave a message for Holly, and then disconnect the call. 10. Listen to the new Voice Mail. a. On CLIENT03, in Lync 2013, click the Phone tab. b. On the dial pad, dial 4199 to go to voice mail. c. When prompted for Holly s PIN, dial # d. Go through the process of setting up the voice mail box. When prompted to record name and greetings, press * to use those provided by Outlook Voice Access. e. Use Outlook Voice Access to listen to the new voice mail, open Holly s Inbox, and listen to new , etc. f. Hang up when done. The virtualized and remote lab environment may affect voice quality. 11. Listen to the Voice Mail in OWA and verify Outlook Web App and Lync Interoperability. a. On CLIENT01, start Internet Explorer. Outlook Web App is the home page for this client. b. On the Outlook Web App page, in the Domain\user name box, type onprem\holly 12

17 Microsoft Lync 2013 Ignite c. In the Password box, type Password1 and then click sign in. d. On the Outlook Web App page, click save. e. In Outlook Web App, in Holly s Inbox, notice the new voice mail message from John. f. In the preview pane, press the Play button to listen to the message. g. In the upper-right corner, notice Holly s status shows. h. Click Holly Holt s name, notice the status drop-down list, and notice the options. i. In the upper-left corner, click new mail. j. In the new mail preview window, in the To box, type Preeda and then press CTRL-K to resolve her name. Notice you can see her presence. k. Hover over Preeda s resolved name and then click the Send instant message icon to start an IM conversation. l. Have a brief conversation with Preeda and then close the conversation window. m. Close Internet Explorer and then click Leave this page to not save any changes. 13

18 Lab 03: Configuring Coexistence & Interoperability with Microsoft Lync Server 2013 Exercise 4: Reviewing the New Lync 2013 Client In this exercise, you will experience Lync 2013 and its new layout, and do some comparisons with Lync Verify you have installed Lync Server 2013 on both laptops as instructed in Lab 00. Tasks 1. Review the Lync client. a. On CLIENT01, in Lync 2013, start an IM session with Holly on CLIENT03. b. In the Conversation window, move the pointer over the Audio icon and notice the different phone numbers available and the different ways to call Holly, as shown in the following image. 14

On CLIENT03, in the conversation window, move the pointer over the Video icon to bring up the VIDEO PREVIEW and notice the ability to turn on your camera, as shown in the following image. This function will not be available in this set of labs. d. On CLIENT01, in the conversation window, move the pointer over the Sharing icon to bring up the different ways to share content, as shown in the following image. 15

On CLIENT01, in the conversation window, move the pointer over the Roster icon to bring up the Participants of the conversation and the ability to invite more people, as shown in the following image. f. On CLIENT01, in the conversation window, click More Options in the bottom right corner to bring up the menu for Managing Recordings and Lync Help. g. Move the pointer over the Audio icon again and then click Lync Call. 2. Answer the call. a. On CLIENT03, in the conversation window, click Answer the Call. b. In the conversation window, notice the IM window gets hidden. c. Move the pointer over the Audio icon. d. Notice the functions available now, DIAL PAD, DEVICES and TRANSFER CALL. 16

21 Microsoft Lync 2013 Ignite e. Review the functions on the DIAL PAD, shown in the image below. f. Review the functions on the DEVICES tab, shown in the following image. The DEVICES tab has the functions for adjusting the volume and for switching between devices in the middle of a call. 17

22 Lab 03: Configuring Coexistence & Interoperability with Microsoft Lync Server 2013 g. Review the functions of the TRANSFER CALL tab, shown in the following image. The TRANSFER CALL tab has the functions for transferring the call to other numbers or other people. Notice, you can Mute the call and place the call on hold on any of the tabs. h. Close the conversation on CLIENT01 and CLIENT Explore the Lync Options. a. On CLIENT02, in Lync 2010, click the Options cog to bring up the Lync Options window. b. On CLIENT01, in Lync 2013, click the Options cog to bring up the Lync Options window. As you review each tab, switch back to CLIENT02 and compare what has changed with Lync c. Review the available configurations on the General tab, make a note of the Conversation window options. d. Click the Personal tab, notice the Activity Feed options are gone. e. Click the new Contacts List tab, and review the different ways to configure the Contacts list. f. Click the Status tab, and notice the new ability to Show as Do Not Disturb when presenting the desktop or with duplicated monitors. g. Click the Alerts tab, and notice the ability to manage how Contacts not using Lync are able to contact you. h. Click the Audio Device tab, and notice the Stereo audio playback option. i. Close Lync Options. 18

23 Microsoft Lync 2013 Ignite 4. View the tabbed conversation feature of Lync. a. On CLIENT03, in Lync 2013, click the Lync Options cog in the upper-right corner. b. On the Lync Options page, on the General page, under Conversations Window, select the Enable tabbed conversations check box, and then click OK. It might already be selected. c. Back in Lync 2013, click the Contacts tab. d. Double-click Preeda Ola to start an instant messaging (IM) session. e. In the Preeda Ola conversation window, type Hello and then press Enter. f. Notice that the message reaches Preeda on CLIENT02 and she can reply. g. Back in Lync 2013, double-click John Woods to start an IM session. h. Notice the tabbed conversations feature of Lync. Switch between the tabs and have a brief conversation with Preeda and John. i. Click the Undock tab icon in the upper-right corner of one of the tabbed conversations window. j. Notice the two conversations are separated now. k. Close both conversations on all clients. 5. Explorer the Contacts Tab. a. On CLIENT01, in Lync 2013, click the Contacts tab. b. Notice the four tabs on how to sort your Contacts, shown in the following image. c. Click each and notice how the contacts get organized. Notice the new NEW tab. d. Click the Add Contacts drop-down menu and then click Add a Contact That s Not in My Organization and then click Lync. e. On the Add Lync contact window, notice the new way to add a Lync contact. Here you can add the contact to a specific group and set their privacy relationship. f. Click Cancel. 19
