She was lucky to be wearing her ski helmet because it saved her life! As a result of this incident, Karyn wanted to make it FUN to wear a safety helmet. Combining her costume design and teaching skills, she created her first helmet covers in January Initially working out of her basement, Karyn started Tail Wags with 6 different helmet covers: the Red Devil, Beaver, Leopard, Bunny Rabbit, Zebra and Raccoon. How can I promote our fundraiser? o Share your campaign link with friends and family using and social media sites such as Facebook. o Ask your school or organization to add a link to their website or newsletter about your fundraising event. o Send a flyer home with the students indicating the electronic link to the fundraising information (not quite as green as the first two suggestions!) 2. Is the fundraiser limited to families in our school or organization? o Please feel free to share your fundraising campaign link with ALL of your friends and family! 3. How do I determine the size of helmet cover I should order? o Lycra helmet covers are one-size-fits-all. Fleece helmet covers come in 2 sizes (child & adult). Generally, kids up to the age of eleven years old fit a child size. 4. Do you mark-up your prices when sold as part of a fundraiser? o No! Our fundraising prices are the same as our regular prices. 5. How quickly are orders shipped? o Tail Wags ships all customer orders within 24 to 48 hours. 6. What are the shipping costs? Each participant pays a flat shipping rate for his or her order: o $8.00 flat rate for anywhere in Canada o $10.00 flat rate for anywhere in the U.S. o $15.00 flat rate for anywhere overseas. Please note that shipping rates are not included in the amount raised by your school/club/charity. 50% is only calculated on the total amount of helmet covers sold by your organization.
