2 Operation of the DPA in connection with DESKLINE systems (not CBD2N) The Desk Panel is used to operate the DESKLINE system. The two arrow buttons are used for parallel drive. Parallel drive ( ) The arrow buttons start parallel drive. The function is only actibated when holding the button down. Alternatively the DPA can be mounted flat under the desktop with the keys facing downwards. LINAK fulfils even the strongest European standards that demand a range of adjustment from 6 mm up to 125 mm. The DL4 is a three part telescopic column with a similar movement of the middle profiles in a parallel system. DL4 is a compact lifting unit with a small installation dimension where the guide and actuator function are integrated. The whole actuating unit with the motor is placed in the column itself. This feature ensures an optimum freedom of design. Each DESKLIFT lifting unit is equipped with a motor. The DESKLIFT lifting column is part of a 2 parallel or a 3 parallel system. The parallel drive is obtained by means of special software in the CBD4 that also compensates for an uneven load on the desk. The control box CBD4 is designed with soft start/stop function.

Thus the desk can be used for sitting as well as standing work. Magnets inside the motor may interrupt the picture on the monitor depending on the distance and type of monitor. If this is the case the problem may be solved by placing an iron plate/tube or another magnetic material, somewhat larger then the DL4, between the motor and the desktop.

The CBD4 control box is the newest and most sophisticated control box within the LINAK DESKLINE product range. The CBD4 ensures that the DESKLINE application has a very low and pleasant noise level and a constant speed level in the normal use area. The control box is compatible with the columns DL4, DL5, DL6 and the built-in actuators DB4, DB5, DB6. CBD4 ensures optimised parallel drive for 2, 3 or 4 legs in parallel or a smooth drive as a single leg control box.
