3 What is ANEGER? One of the two pilot networks of excellence supported by Regional EU-ASEAN Dialogue Instrument (READI) A collaboration among 5 laboratories from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia The network is supported for expert mobility (EU-ASEAN and within ASEAN), meeting organisation and other networking activities

4 Vision & Missions Vision To become the leading network of bioenergy & biofuels in ASEAN Missions To promote bioenergy & biofuels utilization in ASEAN To be a resource center for policy makers, funding agencies, private companies To promote interaction among education and research community and industry in bioenergy & biofuels in ASEAN and EU To be a forum for policy dialogue between EU and ASEAN

12 Meetings & Activities 3 rd meeting on 17 November 2014, KMUTT, Bangkok, Thailand Held back-to-back with the SEE 2014 Conference ANEGER members had opportunity to attend the SEE conference, particularly bioenergy related sessions, contributed keynote speakers, etc, as well as SEE Forum SEE 2014 Conference November 2014 in Bangkok 250 participants, 130 technical papers from 20 countries worldwide
