Carrier specific is so important to your choices, to get a reduced phone price (contract) Ie. iphone 5with 2 year plan is $100. Buy the phone unlocked from Apple.com, approx. $600 Unlocked phones (cost more to buy upfront) can save you money in the long term (less costly monthly plan over 2 years). You don t need to publish an App (Apple, Google, etc..). Remember publisher do pay for their Apps. Some Publishers will move to HTML5 content, and not create Apps.
