The design features themed and exclusive courtyards, hand crafted pool tiles for an exclusive pattern and a 650m2 green wall by Patrick Blanc. Desa ParkCity - Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Design and implementation of the civic landscape to the public realm within this new inner-city suburb development. Design responsibility includes the entire streetscape, Main Entrance Signage, Central Park and exclusive Hillside Bungalow enclave together with the landscape design for the private resident s clubhouse. Shangri-La Hotel - Putrajaya, Selangor Malaysia Design Director responsible for the landscape concept and masterplan for a new 120 room 5-star boutique hotel in Putrajaya. The design approach integrates the hotel back into the slope of an adjacent park against which it is situated. Due for completion in February 2003, this hotel has a strong emphasis on landscape and is designed around an ethnic botanic theme. Alam Warisan Heritage Hotel - Putrajaya, Selangor Malaysia Concept development, landscape masterplan and schematic design of a 4 star themed heritage hotel in Precinct 5 Putrajaya, Malaysia. Kota Kemuning - Shah Alam, Selangor Malaysia Landscape Masterplan, working drawings and implementation of this Design of the show village residential landscape and contract administration for this exclusive 80 acre high class residential precinct within the Kota Kemuning township. 6-Star Boutique Resort - P. Beras Besar, Langkawi, Kedah Malaysia Development masterplan and layout design for this proposed 80 keys 6 star resort. The concept focuses on providing villa accommodation complete with butler services. A combination of room types are situated both along the waterfront and within an existing coconut plantation. The main building complex dramatically terraces down one side of the hill that forms the island and finishes in an infinity edge salt water pool.

The commission also involves the design and implementation of 5 exclusive show house gardens. Bandar Setia Alam - Shah Alam, Selangor Malaysia Concept development and Landscape Masterplan for the commercial area and parkland network for precincts 2,3 and 5 in this New Town development in Shah Alam, Malaysia. SP Setia Bhd. Corporate Head Quarters Malaysia Landscape Masterplan for integrating this new purpose build corporate head quarters building within a park environment. The masterplan promoted an earth sheltered building for the marketing showroom module which fronted onto a lake and featured sustainable environmental control and water recycling systems. Kota Kemuning Masterplan Audit - Shah Alam, Selangor Malaysia Strategic masterplan overview for the public realm within this suburb township of the City of Shah Alam. Particular attention was given to strategising the installation of effective Macro Landscape. Kota Kemuning Wetland - Shah Alam, Selangor Malaysia Concept development, Masterplan, Detail design and implementation of this award winning project that for converts a large area of derelict and under-utilised statutory reserve land into a prime constructed wetland environment. Balik Pulau Golf Resort - Penang Malaysia Development Masterplan in association with Grandwinter Resources for a 267-acre golf and residential resort. Lippo Karawachi - Jakarta Indonesia Comprehensive masterplan audit for existing conditions and enhancement proposals for all landscape within the public realm. The study scope included roads, open space, service and river reserves together with the primary approaches and interchange environments associated with the regional toll roads. Ericsson Headquarters - Cyberjaya, Selangor Malaysia Full landscape masterplanning and design services in conjunction with architect Hijjas Kasturi Associates. The masterplan comprises an exclusive 50 room self-contained resort with full medical spa facilities and ancillary Day Spa which would be open to the general public. The spa would be one of only four known locations in the world offering naturally heated saline spa water. Putrajaya Urban Design Guidelines for Precincts 3,4,5,6 and 18 - Putrajaya, Selangor Malaysia Master Landscape Architect working with Arkitek Urbanisma to produce the Development Control Document (DCD) and Detailed Urban Design Document (DUD) that form the Layout Plan submissions and establish the physical and planning infrastructure for the Core Island of the new Government Administrative Centre of Malaysia. This study also involved advice and designs for extensive reviews and revised proposals for terrain modeling of precincts 5,6 and 18. Marina Point - Pulau Indah, Selangor Malaysia Masterplan proposal for part of an integrated mixed use development in Pulau Indah, Klang. The marina theme is extended into the festive commercial area to create an intimate and unique marina side environment. Damai Bayu Retreat - Sarawak Malaysia Masterplan proposal for an exclusive residential bungalow development near Kuching. Cairnhill Court - District 9 Singapore Landscape Masterplan and detail design for an exclusive condominium project near to Orchard Road in Singapore. Also responsible for preparing and presenting at briefings to the Malaysian Prime Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad. Dataran Shah Alam - Shah Alam, Selangor Malaysia Integrated Masterplanning proposal to re-develop the Batu Tiga race track into an integrated mixed use development. Bukit Kiara Botanical Park - Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Design Director responsible for overseeing the production of a detailed masterplan and report for the proposed Botanical Park on 260 acres at Bukit Kiara. Specific responsibilities included concept design and establishing the park components then managing the design process through to final masterplan culminating in Government presentations, to both EPU and DBKL. Tioman Hill Village - Tioman Island, Johor Malaysia Project Landscape Architect for a sensitive mixed use leisure development within a rainforest environment. Project presented to the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Ulu Slim Hot Spa Resort - Pahang Malaysia Design Director and Masterplan designer of a 1,400 acre integrated development incorporating a natural hot spa complex integrated with a wellness clinic and therapy gardens. Other aspects of the development included residential sub-division featuring low impact forest farm residential lots, orchard lots, an environmentally managed sustainable village and plant production nursery. 4-Star Business Hotel - Sri Alam, Johore Bahru, Johor Malaysia Design Director responsible for managing the landscape masterplan and design development of a high class modern business hotel. Specific responsibilities include client liaisons and design stage presentations together with ensuring that the highest possible standards of design and service are delivered. Ekspo Melaka - Ayer Keroh, Melaka Malaysia Design Director responsible for concept design and management of design process to produce a coordinated masterplan for a themed Heritage Centre at Ayer Keroh, Melaka. Wetlands International Visitor Centre - Sepang, Selangor Malaysia Design Director responsible for managing the production of a development concept masterplan to transform a series of redundant mining ponds and adjacent cleared land areas into an international wetland environment and visitor centre. Specific responsibilities included ensuring the drawings and report produced were to the highest quality and capable of achieving alienation of the land for the visitor centre. Tasik Desa Water Theme Park And Commercial Area Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Design Director responsible for masterplanning and overseeing landscape related issues for a proposed water theme park, commercial area and public lakeside park and promenade at Tasik Desa, Taman Seputeh. Bukit Tinggi Hill Resorts - Pahang Malaysia Associate Landscape Architect responsible for coordination of research, development concepts, organisation and compilation of Landscape drawings for a Landscape planning study concentrating on low impact development techniques for a 9,700-acre area of upland terrain north of Kuala Lumpur. Presented to the Malaysian Prime Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad. Sierramas Residential Township - Selangor Malaysia Design Director and Project Landscape Architect responsible for Landscape Master Planning for a comprehensive residential township with supporting commercial, education and institutional facilities. Specific responsibilities included landscape design and contract administration for all hard and soft works for roadside and open parkland spaces within this benchmark residential development. Air Pedu Lake Resort Hotel - Kedah Malaysia Project Landscape Architect for a resort hotel in traditional Malaysian architectural style set on an island in the lake. This is connected to chalet accommodation and a 36-hole golf course set in forested hill country on the mainland. Specific responsibilities include project coordination of soft landscape design, contract administration and site supervision.
