Allah make it easy for all of us to come to this class. Allah increase the love for Your Book in our hearts, so we read and understand it with love and devotion. 9 Mud Allah created man (Adam) from mud. Allah Asked the angels to prostrate before Adam. All did except Iblis (Shaitan). This made Allah very angry and he was thrown out of Heaven. He made Adam eat from the tree, which Allah had prohibited. [Human Being] So Adam and Hawwa had to leave the Heaven [Janna] and come to the earth.

20 The Holy Quran - Surahs are Makki or Madani

21 The Holy Quran The Holy Quran is a record of the exact WORDS OF ALLAH, revealed through the Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It was memorized by Muhammad (SAW) and then dictated to his Companions, and written down by scribes, who cross-checked it during his lifetime. Not one word of its 114 chapters, Suras, has been changed over the centuries, so that the Quran is in every detail the unique and miraculous text which was revealed to Muhammad (SAW) fourteen centuries ago.

25 Some Benefits of Reciting the Holy Quran Reading and reflecting over the Qur an fulfils an Islamic duty. The Qur an will be a proof for us on the Day of Judgment. The Qur an will intercede for us on the Day of Judgment. Our status in this life will be raised. We will be from the best of the people. There are ten rewards for each letter we recite from the Qur an [e.g. = ] The reciters of the Qur an will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. Our position in Paradise is determined by the amount of Qur an we memorize in this life! The Qur an will lead us to Paradise! Inshallah

28 Name - This Surah is named Al-Fatiha because of its subject-matter. -Fatihah is that which opens a subject or a book or any other thing. - In other words, Al- Fatiha is a sort of preface [introduction or opening or preamble].

29 Period of Revelation Surah Al-Fatiha is one of the very earliest Revelations to the Holy Prophet [PBUH] Many authentic Traditions say that it was the first complete Surah which was revealed to Muhammed (PBUH). Before this, only a few miscellaneous verses were revealed which form parts of Surah Alaq, Muzzammil, Muddathir, etc.

30 Theme This Surah is a prayer which Allah has taught to all those who want to make a study of his book. It has been placed at the very beginning of the Holy Quran to teach this lesson to the reader: if you sincerely want to benefit from the Quran, you should offer this prayer to the Lord of the Universe. From this theme, it becomes clear that the real relation between Al-Fatiha and the Quran is not that of an introduction to a book but that of a prayer and its answer. Fatiha is the prayer from the servant and the Quran is the answer from the the Master to his prayer.

31 The servant prays to Allah to show him guidance and the Master places the whole of the Quran before him in answer to his prayer, as if to say, "This is the Guidance you begged from Me."

32 In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful. - Mercy means: -pity, - patience, and - forgiveness, all of which the sinner needs and Allah bestows in abundant measure. - The Grace flows from Allah to all His creatures, - protecting them, - preserving them, - guiding them, and - leading them to clearer light and higher life.

33 To make us remember these gifts of God: "In the name of God Most Gracious, Most Merciful": is placed before every Surah of the Quran (except the ninth), and repeated at the beginning of every act by the Muslim who dedicates his life to God, and whose hope is in His Mercy.

34 All the praises and thanks be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds [Alamin]( mankind, jinns and all that exists) There are 200 billion galaxies in the universe, each consisting of >200 billion stars. Most stars have planets and most planets have satellites. Allah is the Lord of all.

42 We all will have to answer Allah about every thing we did in this world Master (Owner) of the Day of Judgment (Resurrection). On Yaum-ul-Qayama

44 You (Alone) we worship and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and every thing). - Because of Allah's love and care, His grace and mercy, and His power and justice (as Ruler of the Day of Judgment), we worship Him alone and ask for His help only. - For there is none other than He worthy of our devotion and no one is able to help us.

45 Show (show) us the Straight Way. -We many be wandering aimlessly, and the first step is to find the Way; and the second is to keep in the right way. - For these we need Allah s help. Our own wisdom may fail in either case. - The straight Way is often the narrow and difficult Way. - We must ask for Allah s guidance.

46 The way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace And not the way of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. The first are those who deliberately break Allah s law; The second are those who leave the right path out of carelessness or negligence. Both are responsible for their own acts or omissions. In opposition to both are the people who are in the light of Allah s Grace and Allah will rewarded them. For Allah s Grace not only protects them from active wrong, but also from taking the paths of temptation or carelessness.

47 In response to this Dua Allah gave us the Holy Quran
