4 Software Strengths In Daiichi Systems we have experience in the following tasks: Custom Design Integration Enhancement Porting Optimization Testing Daiichi Systems Project Experience Hardware Design for FPGA Hardware design using Verilog, System Verilog Understanding of FPGA architectures and efficient hardware design to suit target FPGA (DCM, DSP48, IO resources) Understanding of FPGA hardware implementation flow and hardware design constraint (using Xilinx ISE/Vivado). Meeting target area/timing by efficient use of Synthesis tool options and design constraints. RTL verification of FPGA based designs (using Modelsim, isim). SoC Design Expertise Understanding of IP-XACT representation, which is now widely used for SoC integration. Understanding of popular bus interconnects like AXI4 and AXI4 Lite, which are used for bus interface in FPGA. Experience is designing peripherals with slave interfaces (AXI4-Lite interface, memory map and IP-XACT representation). Processor based (ARM Cortex9, PowerPC) design targeted towards Xilinx FPGAs Firmware/Driver USB driver: /maintenance of USB firmware and PC side device driver and development of test tool for USB Ver.1.1 and Ver.2.0 Driver for SIM Card Controller: This was developed for ARM was developed for our customer's device controller attached to ARM peripheral bus.

5 Embedded Applications RTOS: Verification/integration of RTK with applications for systems such as VoIP, Wireless communication and Data communication over the internet. Integration of uitron RTOS with TCP/IP (dual v4-v6) protocol stack for a Low Cost Network Appliance (LCNA). Audio codecs: Fixed point implementation of MP3 decoder (limited, full compliance) and AAC-LC (low complexity profile) for different processors (TeakLite DSP, custom media processor, ARM7TDMI) Image processing: Preprocessing of medical raw images US (Ultrasound), CT (Computerized Tomography) and MRI (Magneto Resonance Imaging). Developed efficient algorithm to process images at real time. We also have expertise in fixed-point implementation of JPEG decoder for ARM7TDMI. Programming Tools We have extensive experience in development of programming tools. These include: of compilers for RISC, CISC processors with industry leading performance Maintenance/upgradation of compilers Porting GCC for RISC based processors of debugger/simulators and development of simulation models for hardware peripherals About Daiichi Systems Daiichi Systems develops system software.
