An invert controls the operating speed of a DC motor by controlling the frequency and voltage of the power supplied to the motor. Compared to standard Hard Start compressor; our inverter controlled compressor runs at the RPM to provide the best capacity and efficiency. When maximum capacity is not needed the compressor RPM is decreased. This means the input power (current draw) decreases too, which results in increased system efficiency. All Midea Outdoor units have a single variable speed DC compressor. Both indoor and outdoor units are equipped with temperature sensors.
