1 Company. WHEN. Nel 1987 a Civita Castellana nasce Artceram. WHAT. L attivitá inizia con la produzione di lavabi per il mercato dei mobilieri del settore bagno per poi svilupparsi, nel 2000, con la creazione di un'identitá propria attraverso la collaborazione di designers internazionali. Nel corso degli anni, la specializzazione porta l azienda ad orientarsi verso altri elementi tipici dell area bagno. L evoluzione strategica si ha nel 2006 con la collezione La Fontana che prevede per la prima volta una linea completa di sanitari ed elementi d arredo con colonne-lavabo. WHEN. In 1987 Artceram began its activity in Civita Castellana. WHAT. At the beginning the company focused on the production of basins for the bathroom furnishing industry. In 2000 Artceram developed its own brand identity through the collaboration of international designers. Along these years the company, achieving more and more specialization, began the production of new furnishing elements for the bathroom. The strategic evolution occurs in 2006 with the brand new collection La Fontana featuring a complete collection of sanitaryware and furnishing pieces such as a column-basin structure. The Artceram. «Tutte le grandi band degli anni '60 iniziano col "the"» (The Commitments, Roddy Doyle, 1987) "The Artceram" é un nuovo programma nato nel 2007 che propone una selezione di progetti giá presenti nel catalogo Artceram e nuove collezioni curate da giovani designers, con quel "the" in piú: parafrasando Roddy Doyle «all the good products start with a "the"». "The Artceram" é uno studio, in continua evoluzione, su prodotti originali, freschi e ambiziosi, accomunati da spirito di innovazione. Move into The Artceram! «All the good 60s bands started with a "the"» (The Commitments, Roddy Doyle, 1987) "The Artceram" is a new program started in 2007 that proposes a selection of products already present into the Artceram catalogue together with new collections developed by young designers, with that particular "the": rewording Roddy Doyle «all the good products start with a "the"». 3 Il nuovo showroom Artceram occupa gli spazi di una chiesa costruita nel 1577 dai frati cappuccini; un luogo suggestivo e adiacente agli stabilimenti Artceram, dove coesistono in un equilibrio perfetto la tradizione e l innovazione, la storia di Civita Castellana e la sperimentazione nella produzione ceramica. Da chiesa a distaccamento degli allievi ufficiali nel 1882, fino a trasformarsi in una fabbrica di sanitari nel 900. Nel 2004, una profonda opera di restauro fa rivivere questi spazi storici che Artceram utilizza per raccontare le proprie collezioni e la propria storia. The new showroom projected by Artceram is based in a church built in 1577 by cappuccini friars; a charming place next to the company where tradition and innovation as well as the history of Civita Castellana and the experiece in the production of ceramics mingle together in a perfect balance.
