21 What s the difference between HD DTL and SD s? HD DTL Peak Frequency (Default:17.3MHz) SD DTL The thickness of the detail is changed. 12.4/12.5/12.7/12.9/13.0/13.3/13.6/13.9/14.2/14.6/15.0/15.5/16. 1/16.7/17.3/18.0/18.6/18.8/19.0/19.2/19.5/19.9/20.3/20.9/21.5/ 22.4/23.6/25.4/28.6/37.1 Peak1 and 2 Frequency (Default: 1.89MHz) The thickness of the detail is changed. 1.89M/2.18M/2.56M/3.17M/4.0M/5.28M/6.75M/
22 What s the difference between resolution and sharpness? Human beings feel resolution by edge enhancement (detail). So even if resolution is full, detail off picture is not sharp. Complaint about SD quality which is downconverted from HD. HPX3100 SD quality is good. It has both HD DTL and SD DTL function. HPX370 SD quality is not good. It doesn t have SD DTL function. If you shoot resolution chart, resolution is very good. But the picture is not sharp. Because HPX3700 doesn t have SD DTL function.
23 Down Conversion 17.3MHz HD (HPX3100, 370) 1.89MHz DTL (MHz) SD (HPX3100) SD (HPX370) DTL Excellent SD picture (MHz) Duller than DVX (MHz) SD (DVX100) DTL Sharper than HPX (MHz)
