Fused track contacts can then be displayed on a single composite picture, which can be distributed across multiple physical sites and/or workstations. This system was used by the UK Police Forces and Ministry of Defence as the primary tool for surveillance of marine vessels during the 2012 Olympic sailing events. The solution collected track data from six different sources and correlated the information to provide a composite picture, which was displayed to the Police, Navy and LOCOG both on board HMS Bulwark and shore side within the Police Command Centre. This technology has capability across many different market sectors including counter surveillance in both marine and land based applications, such as perimeter and coastal defence of valuable national assets and high profile events. Designed to commercial or military standards principally for naval or larger complex commercial vessels.
