7 1. THE USE OF THE DIVE COMPUTER IS MANDATORY; 2. TGI DIVE CENTERS ARE PADI 5 STAR TRAINING FACILITIES AND FOLLOW PADI STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES; 3. DIVE DURATION IS AT THE DIVE GUIDE S DISCRETION AND ANYWAY NEVER LONGER THAN 60 MINUTES; 4. THE ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM DEPTH ALLOWED BY MALDIVIAN GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS IS THIRTY METERS (30 MT). DIVES TO THIS DEPTH MAY ONLY BE DONE BY DIVERS HOLDING AN ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION OR EQUIVALENT AND/OR BY DIVERS WITH A PADI OPEN WATER DIVER OR EQUIVALENT CERTIFICATION IN COMBINATION WITH A PADI DEEP DIVER OR EQUIVALENT CERTIFICATION. FOR ALL OTHER DIVERS THE MAXIMUM DEPTH ALLOWED IS 18 METERS; 5. DECOMPRESSION DIVES ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN; 6. A SAFETY STOP AT 5 METERS FOR AT LEAST 3 MINUTES IS MANDATORY AFTER EVERY DIVE, SAFETY AND AIR SUPPLY PERMITTING; 7. FOR NIGHT DIVES THE MAXIMUM DEPTH IS 18 METERS AND MAXIMUM DIVE TIME IS 40 MINUTES; 8. TGI PROFESSIONAL STAFF GUIDES ALL DIVES. UNDER SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES IT IS LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE TGI STAFF TO ARRANGE DIVES IN SMALL INDEPENDENT GROUPS THAT WILL ANYWAY HAVE TO FOLLOW THE GUIDE AND RESPECT ALL OTHER RULES AND LIMITS IMPOSED BY THE PRESENT DOCUMENT; 9. IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO TOUCH OR REMOVE ANY OF THE MARINE FAUNA AND/OR FLORA, WHETHER ALIVE OR NOT; 10. EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AND THE USE OF NARCOTIC DRUGS WILL AFFECT YOUR SAFETY WHILE DIVING. IN THESE CASES, PLEASE DO NOT DIVE; 11. WE KINDLY ASK YOU TO INFORM THE STAFF OF THE DIVING CENTER IN ADVANCED IN CASE YOU ARE TAKING MEDICINES; 12. TGI DIVING CENTERS RECOGNIZE AND ACCEPT ALL CERTIFICATIONS OF ALL DIDACTICAL AGENCIES ASSOCIATED WITH RSTC RECREATIONAL SCUBA TRAINING COUNCIL; 13. GUESTS NOT IN POSSESSION OF A SCUBA DIVING CERTIFICATION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO DIVE UNLESS THEY PARTICIPATE IN ONE OF THE ENTRY-LEVEL COURSES OFFERED BY TGI DIVING CENTERS; 14. IF YOU ARE HIRING DIVING OR SNORKELING EQUIPMENTS, INCLUDING WEIGHT BELTS AND WEIGHTS, PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH EQUIPMENTS FOR THE WHOLE PERIOD OF HIRE. PLEASE RETURN THE EQUIPMENT PERSONALLY TO THE DIVING CENTER. FAILURE TO RETURN THE EQUIPMENT AND/OR ITS LOSS OR DAMAGE WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING LIABLE TO BE CHARGED REPLACEMENT COST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PUBLISHED PRICE LIST; SUCH LIST IS ON DISPLAY AT THE DIVING CENTER FOR YOUR REFERENCE; 15. PLEASE BE AT THE DIVING CENTER AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE AGREED DIVE TIME; 16. THE FIRST DIVE YOU TAKE PART IN WITH TGI DIVING CENTERS IS ALWAYS A CHECK DIVE, WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE IN A DIVE SITE PROTECTED FROM STRONG CURRENTS AND AT A SHALLOW DEPTH. IN CASE YOU WOULD LIKE TO REFRESH YOUR DIVING SKILLS AFTER A LONG TIME OF INACTIVITY OR IN CASE THE STAFF OF THE DIVING CENTER DEEMS IT NECESSARY, A CHECK DIVE IN THE LAGOON PRIOR TO ANY BOAT DIVE MAY BE AN OPTION; 17. BOOKINGS FOR MORNING OR AFTERNOON DIVES HAVE TO BE MADE BEFORE 18:00 HRS THE DAY PRIOR TO THE DIVE. ANY CANCELLATION WILL HAVE TO BE MADE BEFORE 20:00 HRS THE DAY PRIOR THE DIVE. DIVES BOOKED AND NOT CANCELLED WILL BE CHARGED AT FULL PRICE; 18. PLEASE CHECK THE NOTICE BOARD AT THE DIVING CENTER FOR POSSIBLE CHANGES IN PRICING AND DEPARTURE TIMES DUE TO HALF AND/OR FULLDAY DIVES AND/OR NIGHT DIVES; 19. A SHORT TERM INSURANCE COVERAGE ISSUED BY DAN EUROPE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL ACTIVITIES INVOLVING THE USE OF COMPRESSED AIR AND/OR NITROX, UNLESS YOU ALREADY CARRY INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR SCUBA DIVING RELATED ACCIDENTS. THE SHORT TERM INSURANCE OFFERED BY DAN EUROPE HAS DIRECT COVERAGE IN MALDIVES AND DOES NOT REQUIRE PAYMENTS IN CASE OF ACCIDENTS. THE COST VARIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR CHOICE OF POLICY DURATION: 1,7 OR 14 DAYS. FEEL FREE TO ASK TGI STAFF FOR FURTHER DETAILS. 20. AT THE END OF YOUR DIVE/EXCURSION PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE INSIDE THE EQUIPMENT BASKET VALUABLE ITEMS LIKE WATCHES, UW COMPUTERS, SUNGLASSES. TGI CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR EVENTUAL LOSSES.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO TOUCH OR TAKE MARINE FLORA AND/OR FAUNA; 6. THE EXCESSIVE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL AND/OR THE USE OF DRUGS WILL PREVENT PARTICIPATION IN ANY IN-WATER ACTIVITY; 7.
