1 A. Core Functions: In this area of work we aim to provide support and stability to our volunteers and to add strength to the functions of Stirling Street Pastors Top Level Objectives How? Maintain and support the work of current SP team and support interim Appointing interim contact for volunteers; provision of up to date rotas; provision of administration tasks and fulfilment of legal duties, etc. 3. Integrate new SPs into team Fulfilment of observation night; allocation of new volunteers to teams; conduct review of new starts 4. Complete ID card exercise Print ID cards for all active volunteers 5. Maintain 3 monthly Seniors Diary in Seniors meetings for meetings Note of relevant issues for 6. Respond to needs / requests from ad hoc contacts discussion Assign temporary contact person Identify signposting if necessary 7. Finance and Fundraising: In this area of work we aim to secure sufficient financial resources to support the ongoing work of Stirling Street Pastors as well as look to developing and supporting new initiatives 8. Develop and agree a financial strategy for 1 3 years Establish financial management systems to support reports, projection and decision making etc. Develop and agree principles of a risk management strategy (also ref. here to principles re. ratios of funding sources) Develop and agree a fundraising strategy to support the financial strategy Treasurer November 2015 Completion of strategic financial plan that identifies Red, Amber, Green thresholds; key financial processes and timelines Treasurer November 2015 Training? Key risks identified Risk mitigation strategy in place Treasurer/ Fundraising sub group January 2016 Investment for Award scheme Adequate funding secured to complete year 2 Work Plan Plan of action to address year 3 funding 9. Undertake an annual independent financial examination and comply with OSCR 10. Undertake an annual review of SSP financial strategy to feed into strategy for years 2 and 3 Appoint independent examiner - and complete audit process Review year 1 budget and financial activity Identify any issues and plan for mitigation Treasurer September 2016 Funding to pay auditor Independent examination report complete and OSCR return submitted by 31 Dec - Treasurer March 2016 Identify excess funding / shortfall Agree changes to financial management procedures of SSPs 2

Prayer : In this area we aim to express our total dependence on God by maintaining prayer as the critical centre of all that we strive to achieve through the work of Stirling Street Pastors; to give thanks and to commit the work of the organisation, and all those we meet on patrol, to the Lord in prayer. 11. Maintain prayer as a priority within SSP which supports the work and develops a sense of TEAM among our volunteers and a wider engagement with prayer partners and church supporters. (Praying for the TEAM, for those we meet on the streets and for our City.) Maintain quarterly prayer nights Maintain weekly Facebook prayer prompts Publish and deliver bimonthly Call2Pray letter Maintain prayer at base Develop and review our prayer partner policy Provide a focus on prayer in training Prayer / Facebook s OTJ for prayer meetings Volunteers, prayer partners and church partners regularly updated on points of prayer 12. Be alert and sensitive to opportunities to pray with people we meet on the Streets or offer to pray for them when we return to base. sessions Training volunteers on principles and practice of prayer on the streets Maintaining a log of prayer points from patrols / Prayer Senior SPs Training events / SSP meetings Regularly praying for those we remember from meeting during patrols, and prayer points; completion of prayer cards 3

Governance: In this area of work we aim to ensure that Stirling Street Pastors works within the provisions of OSCR and the Ascension Trust and carries out its duties in a manner that safeguards the organisation, its work and volunteers; and commits to improving practices when necessary 13. Recruit (and induct) a new Engage with potential September 2015 Appointed new Chair of Chair candidates SSP 14. Streamline SSP governance in accordance with new ATS and AT rules 15. Revise and implement SSP constitution [SCIO licence] 16. Review Management Committee roles and responsibilities 17. Schedule and support 6 weekly SV in full meetings for SSP Advertise if necessary Identify further essential policy and practice and implement Draft and finalise new constitution for SSPs Conduct review of roles and responsibilities Schedule of meetings for each year agreed Appoint Management Group members Secretary / Lead - Anne Lead: Chair, Vice Chair September 2015 SSP compliant with ATS and AT rules September 2015 New constitution signed off and submitted to OSCR; Robertson Trust, GFI, AT and ATS August October 2015 OTJ Dedicated job roles for positions Complete 6 weekly SV meetings Constructive, supportive process in place 18. Identify and agree communication and engagement process between student representatives,, sub groups and Management committee Allocate clear roles to each function Agree decision making authority, review and final sign off procedures Agree process of regular communication and engagement with / October 2015 Each function of SSP is clear on its role and procedures that need to be followed to ensure communication and decision making is effective 4
5 19. Produce a report covering (? Governance) Draft report compiled for review Final report completed, End August 20. Ensure SSP complies with PVG legislation for all new volunteers 21. Commit to comply with data protection / disclosure practices and ensure up to date and secure record keeping and professional management of information and records etc. 22. Appoint a named CP officer for SSPs and appoint a named CRBS signatory (Note here re. transition and ACT) published and issued PVG forms for new volunteers to be completed Agree and implement clear and compliant practices and procedures related to data protection / disclosure and management information Identify CP officer and CRBS signatory All new volunteers PVG accredited Photo ID for all volunteers November 2015 SSP compliant with legislated rule and recognised best practice June 2015 New representatives appointed and SSP compliant 5

New Initiatives / Developments: In this area of work we aim to continually review the work of Stirling Street Pastors and where there is a clearly identified need, to develop new initiatives to meet these needs. Through these relationships, identify, implement and share examples of good practice; explore potential for support from AT(S) 25. Hold and nurture the need to explore possible bridge between street and church to nurture seeds of faith - this links to partnerships (NB for year 2) 26. Explore the expansion of Street Pastors in other areas of Stirling and beyond - possibly also on Tuesday nights (NB for year 2 and 3) Engage with initiative coordinators to explore options and agree approach / programme for training Identify SSP best practice Identify and agree with ATS means of sharing with other initiatives and ATS Engage with church leaders Identify possible initiatives that provide support to those we meet Engage with church leaders to identify direction of travel, and support and commitment required from SSP Identify the need for additional patrols on Tuesdays Chair / Vice Chair Chair / November 2015 November 2015 needed? Partnerships : In this area of work we aim to continue the development of key working partnerships with public bodies, businesses and church bodies to support the work of Stirling Street partners and to develop joint working initiatives 27. Clarify and further develop SSP partnership strategy Identify key partners: priority being church contacts but including Police, Council, local businesses Identify objectives for partnership working, key objectives, resources, plan of action, etc. Clear and agreed action plans to develop partnerships and support between SSP and its various partner organisations 28. Communicate effectively with partners during year 29. Ensure identified contact person for all SSP partners 30. Circulate report to partners 31.
