4 Directional drilling Motors We specialize in directional drilling, horizontal drilling, performance straight-hole drilling and air drilling. We operate a diverse fleet of downhole drilling motors that have been carefully selected to provide consistent and reliable performance in the harshest environments. Each motor can be configured for specific applications and downhole conditions. Archer offers advanced MWD technology that allows drillers to take directional surveys in real time, providing critical data and other complementary services to help our customers reach the intended target zone more efficiently. 6

8 Directional drilling Collar mounted rotary pulser Our Collar Mounted Pulser is a reliable, efficient and modular tool that can perform in the worst of conditions. This tool is a great alternative for high temperature and high lost circulation material (LCM) environments. All materials are high wear-resistant to lengthen the run time and increase reliability. It utilizes a piston design for pressure compensation with an option to integrate the gamma detector along with high temperature capabilities. 9 Archer Gamma module Effective in any environment, gamma ray tools are the industry standard devices used for the correlation of logs. The gamma ray tool uses a sensitive scintillation detector for the measurement of natural radioactivity of well formations. The gamma ray tool is placed below the telemetry section, which supplies power to the tool and transmits the gamma ray data to the surface. Features Ruggedized PMT and scintillation crystal, calibrated to API standard units The tool may be incorporated into the pulser module housing Can be added or removed as needed Key benefits Closer proximity of sensor to bit for better geological placement High temperature capabilities Can be added or removed as needed User can turn on at any time by sending down-link command Applications Logging of formations while drilling Evaluation of the shale content Locating frac sands Locating markers in casing Focused gamma module The Focus Gamma uses a smaller diameter crystal than the standard gamma module, but with a longer length to compensate for lower sensitivity. A window is machined along the length of a tungsten shield that surrounds the detector, which provides proper orientation of the geological formation. Only gamma rays entering from the formation through this window are detected and counted.
