Building n the highly successful BiCity mdel, MediCity will prvide the ideal envirnment in which t nurture and grw innvatin in the health and wellness sectr. MediCity ffers the ideal envirnment fr bth start-up and established cmpanies t develp. Businesses will nt nly benefit frm BiCity's experience f successfully grwing businesses in specialised incubatr envirnments but als frm Walgreens Bts Alliance expertise in the glbal healthcare sectr, including access t innvatin and prduct develpment knwledge, as well as supply chain expertise. MediCity is based within the Nttingham Enterprise Zne n the Bts site in Beestn, which was awarded Enterprise Zne status by the Gvernment in March Enterprise Znes are designated areas with incentives t encurage the creatin f new businesses, which will cntribute t the grwth f lcal and natinal ecnmies. MediCity ffers a range f ways t access its fantastic facilities and business supprt, ffice and labratry space n very flexible terms. As such we need t highlight the features and benefits f being resident at MediCity, many f which will be genuinely unique, such as the link t Bts Alliance. 2. Ptential surces f funding MediCity aims t psitin itself as the leading surce f innvatin in the health and wellness sectr. As such, it expects t attract investrs with an appetite fr this vertical that are seeking ut new ideas and pprtunities t be a part f innvatin frm its earliest stages. These investrs culd be private individuals thrugh t funds and grant bdies r even a variety f Gvt agencies/lcal cuncils. 3. Big Pharma MediCity wishes t psitin itself as a surce f innvatin fr large Pharma Cs and the website shuld help t keep us frnt f mind with them. 4.
