Since then it has grwn t be the largest self-hsted blgging tl in the wrld, used n hundreds f thusands f sites and seen by tens f millins f peple every day. We will use phpmyadmin t create the database. Pint yur brwser t and lgin. The default phpmyadmin user name is rt and the default passwrd is admin. Yu can select yur default language at this time as well. If yu get a message that Secure Cnnectin is nt enabled n the web server, yu will be redirected t the Web Server cnfiguratin page. 4 Create new database called wrdpress Start WrdPress If this is yur first time installing WrdPress, yu will see the message belw after clicking n the Web Page link frm the PKG page. 5 Enter the infrmatin fr yur MySQL database server and click Submit. The default mysql username is rt. The default mysql passwrd is admin, as used t lgin. Database Cnfiguratin Click Run the install t start the WrdPress installatin. WrdPress Installatin. Next type in yur blg title fr yur first blg and yur address. The checkbx underneath is t specify whether r nt yu wish yur blg t appear in the search results f Ggle r Technrati. Nw it lks like we've gt all the details required t start the installatin. 6 WrdPress Setup WrdPress will create a default administratin accunt and passwrd fr yu t lg in fr the very first time. D nt frget t write it dwn. Next, we can lg in t WrdPress by clicking Lg In. WrdPress Credentials Once yu are lgged in, yu will first be taken t the administratin backend where mst f the settings and the cnfiguratins can be changed and made there. The first thing that is strngly suggested t d is t change the default passwrd t smething easier fr yu t remember. WrdPress is nw cnfigured.
