3 Screen 2 Screen 1 Screen 3 Screen 5 Screen 4 Screen 6 MAIN PLAYER WINDOW: The main player window is the largest of the screens and plays a continuous loop of files which could include Flash, Mpegs, AVIs and most other standard multimedia file formats. The movies play based on a schedule sent form the 3M DSN Server. Window Size: 800 x 600 pixels 3M Commercial Graphics Page 3 of 7 Dec 2007

4 TIME / DATE WINDOW: The Time and Date Window displays a real time digital clock which is read from the PC clock time. The font and size of the clock can be changed accordingly and the date can be displayed in appropriate custom formats. At the bottom of the time, you could also include your company s logo or name for branding purposes. Window Size: 224 x 100 pixels WEATHER / STOCK MARKET WINDOW: The Weather Window displays a continuous transition of upto 30 images. Each image stays on the screen for approximately 10 secs. It then transitions into the next image in the cycle using an effect like ripple / dissolve, etc. The delay time can be varied per the customer s requirements. 5 PRODUCT / BRANDING WINDOW: The Product Window displays a continuous transition of upto 30 images. Each image stays on the screen for approximately 10 secs. It then transitions into the next image in the cycle using an effect like ripple / dissolve, etc. The delay time can be varied per the customer s requirements. Window Size: 224 x 168 pixels NEWS TICKER: The News ticker is a horizontal scroller which reads from a text file which is updated from the server. Each remote location can have its news localized so that the news content is relevant. The system plays from a back-up general file if the news file received is more than 24 hours old. 6 SPORTS TICKER: The Sports Ticker is a Horizontal Crawler, which can have four different transitions. For Ex: It can read NBA, NFL, NHL scores along with a sponsor s message. The single line text scrolls from down and stays for a few seconds and scrolls up out of the screen. After 2 minutes, it reads NHL scores and continues to NFL. The screen has spots for logo on the left and right hand side of the Scroller. If the updates are older than 24 hours or the previous day s, then it will only loop through with the sponsor s message and logo and will wait for updates form the server. 7 THE 3M DSN CONTENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES 3M DSN can do all of the initial content and creative design to get your digital signage solution up and running in the shortest possible time. The client can then subscribe to our Content Management Services so that you can be guaranteed of continuous daily updates and the maximum visual impact. 3M DSN has a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center in Bangalore, India. Using high-speed internet lines, we can connect to any CONTENT server for pushing updates and pulling log files and status reports about all the remote players placed anywhere in the world. The client can take a dedicated / shared hosting solution with any provider and provide 3M DSN access to this server via Content. The client can have complete administrative control of this CONTENT Server. Each remote player logs into a predefined folder on the CONTENT Server using a secure login and password provided by the client. The 3M DSN Remote Player looks into this directory for any updates from the Administration side and pulls it to its local memory. It then updates the directory with the log and status files. The 3M DSN admin program at our Network Operations Center gets these log files for generating reports about the status of each remote player in the network. 3M DSN can develop custom reports to suit your requirements for billing and proof-of-run reports. 3M Commercial Graphics Page 7 of 7 Dec 2007
