3 The strategy of the different companies and institutions to establish one corporate identity that defines them rises up from the basic need their public to identify and differentiate their activities and products from the other organizations. Corporate identity is the most valuable asset, most powerful visual communication that a partnership has in order to promote its activities and deliverables. A strong corporate identity is the central unifying point of a successful partnership. First impressions often are the basis for people's long-lasting attitudes and opinions. Those opinions influence actions. An identity program is much more than the format and use of a company symbol, such as logo or sign. A comprehensive visual identity system is a structure for communicating and presenting information logically, clearly, and with distinction. Every physical representation of a partnership's image from letter or fax sheet to advertisement, name tag, brochure, or sign, creates an opportunity to add to the brand identity of the project as a whole. It is therefore critical that systematic, consistent application of the identity be a prime consideration in the implementation of any visual identity system. Consistent application is how the project's external audiences become familiar with its identity. For these reasons it is necessary to create and define this identity in its different aspects, compiling this manual in order to ensure the correct and proper use of the brand. In the manual you will find as well a proposal of some possible modifications of the brand in different versions, backgrounds, colours, etc. together with its printed applications. MANUAL CONTENTS The corporate identity includes a group of elements that make a company recognizable and unique. The corporate identity contains the logo, the cover letter, the card, the envelopes, etc. and it is designed to visualize the project and to capture the audience when it faces the graphical characteristics and the applications of the logo. This manual is divided in two chapters: A - Standard norms This section contains the characteristics of the graphical symbols for the correct visual Introduction. These norms define the basic rules for the utilization of the logo, the corporate colours and typography. B - Printed Applications This section contains the logo application on variety of printed material. It defines the corporate stationery, as well as it proposes the use of the main applications for any easy adaptation.

For instance blue is the colour of spirit, the symbol of thought and of the sky. Light blue shows small depth and depicts a road to maturity. The green colour, on the other, is the cry of life towards growth. The light green especially when it contains a shadow of blue, is the colour of therapy. It is strong and friendly and it has the attraction of the nature along with the sense of balance. The colour variety is three coloured. The colour version of the logo defines and detects its visual identity. CMYK 60C - 0M - 100Y - 10K 25C - 0M - 100Y - 10K 100C - 40M - 10Y - 10K CORPORATE COLOURS
