Something New Shop 13, 37 Dolphin Drive, Entrance on Fathom Turn Mandurah Ocean Marina, Mandurah W.A phone: web: WISHING / GIFT WORDING IDEAS POEM 1 A little suggestion just in case you were thinking of buying us bedding and plates For a while now we have been renting a home so most of the furnishings we already own And now a deposit we are trying to save to purchase our own home for our family days The gift of money we would appreciate but only if you would like to participate So If you would like to add to our wishing well we would be eternally grateful Our two families have come together as one and we hope you can join in the fun POEM 2 They have their dishes and towels for two They have pots and pans and oven mitts too So what do you get for the Bride & Groom Whose house is set up in every room? Their house needs repairs and some upgrades too But you cannot register for carpet and glue A well that holds wishes is the way to go So let s make it easy for all to know Envelopes are provided for those who have room to give a monetary gift to the Bride and Groom A well will be on display at the reception hall to drop in your wishes for the couple with love from all POEM 3 Our home is nearly complete now we have been together so long Most household items are already bought and because of this reason we had a thought A wishing well would be great but only if guests want to participate A gift of money is put in an envelope so in the near future we really hope POEM 4 To save you looking, shopping or buying Here is an idea we hope you like trying Come to our wedding to wish us both well and bring this small bag to throw in our well Fill it with paper all colours will do Green is our favourite but pink will do Now that we have saved you all the fuss We hope you will come and celebrate with us To make our home the very best and always remember it was due to you our guest POEM 5 Soon you will hear our wedding bell as friends and family wish us well Our household thoughts are not brand new we have twice the things we need for two Since we have our share of dishes and bedding we're having instead a wishing well wedding But more important we ask of you for your prayers and love and blessings too! POEM 6 Our home is almost complete now, we ve been together long, so please consider this request and do not take it wrong A wishing well will be near on the day we wed and if you choose you may give a monetary gift instead Make a wish upon your gift and be mindful as you do because as the wishing well tradition goes your wishes may come true Prepared by Something New - Page 1 of 9

WISHING / GIFT WORDING IDEAS (Continued..) POEM 7 This wishing well is here today for family and friends Take an envelope make a wish and gently drop it in as it falls into the well your wish for the couple will come true A token for the couple to help them begin will be most welcomed too please take the time to make a wish before the day is through POEM 8 The tradition of the wishing well used on the wedding day is here both for your money gifts and for what you would like to say So please drop in a token of love for this special Bride and Groom as they start their life united by God to live forever side by side POEM 9 Because at first we lived in sin We've got the sheets and a rubbish bin A gift from you would be swell But we'd prefer a donation to our! POEM 10 If finding a gift is hard to do Our wishing well is just for you! A gift of money is placed in the well Then make a wish but do not tell POEM 11 Now we are to be Mr & Mrs We don't need a wedding list of dishes We have two kettles, toasters and a microwave We require a house for which we have to save If you would like to give us a gift A cheque or voucher would give us a lift We like to think of it as our wishing well Which will be filled with your love and best wishes as well POEM 12 We have been together a few years now We have pots and pans, linen and towels We have glasses and toasters, really quite a few So instead of more gifts we suggest this to you If it doesn't offend and it won't send you running What we would appreciate is quite simply money We know choosing gifts can be such a pain This way there s no chance of bringing the same POEM 13 A wishing well we thought would be great but only if you wish to participate A gift of money is placed in the well then make a special wish but do not tell Please do not be offended by this type of request as our day is complete having you as our guest POEM 14 Friends you are aware we have most items needed to set up house This is the reason for us choosing a wedding wishing well At the reception there will be a wishing well in which we would love to receive your greeting card and contribution This will be a great way for us to pool together and buy ourselves something quite luxurious or to make our honeymoon even better Prepared by Something New - Page 2 of 9

WISHING / GIFT WORDING IDEAS (Continued..) POEM 15 In our home we have many things that living together always brings Toasters and tumblers we have bought and because of this we have thought A honeymoon donation would be great if any of our special guests wish to participate So we can travel overseas far and wide but never leave each other s side And when our honeymoon is all done we ll have great memories and we can thank you for all of our fun POEM 16 Our home is quite complete now, we've been together long. So please consider our request and do not take it wrong A delicate request it is, we hope you understand. Please play along as it will give our married life a hand The tradition of the wishing well is one that's known by all. Go to the well, toss in a coin and as the coin does fall Make a wish upon that coin and be careful as you do because as the well's tradition goes, your wishes will come true So on this special day of ours, the day that we will be wed. Don't hunt for special gifts but give a monetary gift instead And as you drop in the envelope with amounts great and small. Remember to make your wish as you watch your money fall POEM 17 More than just kisses so far we've shared Our home has been made with love and care Most things we need we ve already got Like a toaster and kettle, pans and pots A wishing well we thought would be great But only if you wish to participate A gift of money is placed in the well Then make a wish but do not tell Once we ve replaced the old with the new We can look back and say it was thanks to you! POEM 18 We don t want to offend but we have it all All household goods and so much more To save you shopping, sit back and rest A gift of money is our request Don t go overboard or rob any banks, Any little thing will make us smile with thanks We provide the wishing well, You write a message, make a wish, sshh don t tell Now that we have saved you all the fuss, Please come and celebrate with us And in return for your kindness we re sure That one day soon you'll get what you wished for! POEM 19 The tradition of the wishing well used on the wedding day Is here both for your money gifts and for what you d like to say So please drop in a token of love for us as we start our life to live forever side by side But more importantly we ask of you for your prayers and love and blessings too! POEM 20 The tradition of the wishing well used upon the wedding day Is here both for your money gifts and for what you d like to say So please drop in a token of love for us as we start our life To live forever side by side now as husband and wife But more importantly we ask of you for your wishes, love and blessings too! Prepared by Something New - Page 3 of 9

WISHING / GIFT WORDING IDEAS (Continued..) POEM 21 The tradition of the wishing well used upon the wedding day Is here both for your money gifts and for what you would like to say Your thoughts and good wishes we want to hear them all So please enjoy our wedding day and we hope you have a ball POEM 22 While wedding presents are so nice Your attendance will certainly suffice But if you wish to give as well You can donate to our wishing well POEM 23 A home together we already share Furnished with love, pride and care So when we look at all we ve got We really do not need a lot So we d like to ask if you do not mind For a gift of another kind Instead of searching for inspiration You can simply make a cash donation POEM 24 To save you looking, shopping or buying here is an idea we hope you like trying Come to our wedding to wish us both well bring a small envelope to throw in our well Fill it with paper all colours will do green is our favourite but pink will do Now that we have saved you all the fuss we hope you will come and celebrate with us As you place your gift in to the well Make two wishes but do not tell One is for us and one is for you And trust that both will soon come true! POEM 25 We hope you can join us on this our Wedding Day To celebrate our union in a very special way POEM 26 If you were thinking of giving us a gift to help us on our way A gift towards our wishing well would really make our day Our wish is quite different and a little hard to tell Instead of shopping for a present why not bless our wishing well If you d rather shop it s still alright by us We just thought by giving you this option it would save a bit of fuss POEM 27 Everybody knows that diamonds are a girls best friend But a wishing well wedding is a more modern trend Here is an idea we hope you don t mind trying At our reception look for the box that is tiffany blue Pop in your gift any amount will do and as you place it in the box make a wish and hope it will come true! POEM 28 For a couple of years we ve lived in sin We have a toaster, kettle and a stainless steel bin Saucepans and towels we have many Corkscrews and flannels we don t need any We just want you with us to celebrate our day But if you insist on a gift anyway What we d really like is a gift of money We hope you don t think we re being funny! We ll put it all together and buy something that s best As a reminder of our day and our wonderful guests Prepared by Something New - Page 4 of 9

POEM 30 A wishing well we hear is all the rage It will help us along in our next life stage There s no need to buy or wrap a present You can even use it to leave a sentiment Some may find this request is a little bit funny But pop in your offering, it s usually money We really look forward to celebrating with you On the special day when we say I do POEM 31 We ve been together now for a year or two, our weddings coming up and we ve invited you We have all we need so there s no wedding list but we have a plan, if you really persist A donation to our wishing well would be gratefully received, just don t think you have to, we would not be aggrieved We really want your company to help make our day, to eat, drink, be merry and dance the night away We thank you in advance and hope we ll be seeing you, because you re part of our wish that we want to come true POEM 32 REQUEST We have been together a very long time We have the toaster and electric iron We have no gift registry or present list No cash or gifts is our request All we require is you to attend Our wedding celebration as a special friend Feel free to take photos or film if you want to And we would simply love to get a copy from you Thank you for making our day memorable one POEM 33 REQUEST Whilst in a foreign land, they ve had many adventures grand None of which could ever compare, to the wonderful love that they share The couple will marry whilst travelling once more, while their family shall come to a foreign shore The bride and groom have considered the options, guests bearing gifts will come to considerable exertions Airline restrictions will also apply, to the bride and the groom when home they fly So it is their request to them be kind, come as a guest but leave the boxes behind Prepared by Something New - Page 5 of 9
