Conducted research on the links between economic development, energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions in US and in Turkey. (2009) Energy Consumption, Income, and Carbon Emissions: Challenges Faced by an EU Candidate Member Ecological Economics 68: E) Occupational Health and Safety Market Analysis (2005) External expert (EUROPEAID/114648/D/SV/TR) Worked with international experts and authorities from the Ministry of Work to determine the needs and problems in OHS of business firms in different industries and cities in Turkey. Set up a survey plan for exploratory market analysis. Designed a questionnaire and implemented a pilot run to finalize the questionnaire. Planned and used a quota sampling procedure to select a sample of different sized firms from 5 different industries and 10 different towns in Turkey. Selected and trained field personnel. Supervised data collection and organization. Conducted statistical analysis and has written a comprehensive report on the findings on OHS market analysis. Presented key findings to the ministry. Prepared a survey plan to identify privately run OHS laboratories in Turkey. Determined a sample of state and private OHS laboratories. Designed a questionnaire and implemented a pilot run to finalize it. Supervised data collection and organization. Conducted statistical analysis and has written a comprehensive report on the findings on exploratory OHS laboratory analysis. Submitted the report to the ministry.
