2 The conference is organized by NoSB (Nordic cooperation for nurses who work with children and young people). This is a professional cooperation including public health nurses nurses, home visitors, district nurses, school nurses and pediatric nurses in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Finland is also invited into the cooperation. The professional interest groups of the Pediatric and the Public health nurses of the Norwegian Nurses Organization have the responsibility of organizing this conference. Deadline is 20 June ABSTRACT / POSTER - PRESENTATION We invite Scandinavian colleagues to present posters at the conference. Submit an abstract (summary) to: a.grundevig@c2i.net Deadline for submission: 1 May 2011 Guidelines for abstracts / Poster: 1. A special committee will review submitted abstracts. Significant changes in the title or content of the poster after approvment, is not accepted. 2. The summary: Up to 250 words - excluding title and author's name Corresponding author's name, address and (in italics) Authors: name, surname, municipality or institution Block Adjusted text - just right and the left margin. Scandinavian or English language Use font Arial 10 point sensitive. Line spacing single (1.0) Contributions should include research question, methodological approach and briefly about the main findings / results 3. Only members of our Nordic societies within NoSB may present posters. Non-members can only participate as a cooperating partner / author. 4. Posters can only be presented by participants who are registered / have paid registration fee. 5. Poster size is 100 x 70 cm. Posters will be attached to the wall with fixing pasta. It will not be allowed to have tables or other equipment at the poster presentation. 6. Selected posters will be exhibited during the Coference. Those who have approved posters are encouraged to be present at the poster during all breaks. 7. Poster presentation is free, but you must cover travel, accommodation and any other costs. Has worked with the investigation / therapy / counseling / teaching focus: early interaction in the risk families (care agency, anxiety / depression, substance abuse), attachment issues, infants / toddlers at risk (0-3 years), mothers at risk before and after birth (anxiety / depression). Contributor to the book "CHILDREN" on the occasion of celebrating 20 years of the UN Convention on the rights of the Child. KARI KILLEN Researcher Emeritus / social worker / Ph.D. Areas of Expertise: children associated development risks, preventive measures, children, parent-child interaction, child abuse neglect, interdisciplinary cooperation Has published several books, especially on the subjects of children at risk and in neglect situations, early interaction and attachment. Cand.med. 1984, a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry, MD and Professor Have been employed at the Department of Pediatrics, National Hospital since CHERYLL ADAMS, ENGLAND Independent Adviser, Health Visiting and Community Health Policy and Practice. Senior visiting lecturer, City University London. Inductee, NT Nursing Hall of Fame. LARS FR. SVENDSEN, NORWAY Professor of philosophy at the University of Bergen and columnist in the newspaper Aftenposten. Has published books including " Philosophy of boredom " (1999), Art "(2000),"Philosophy of evil "(2001)," Man, morals and the genes "(2001), " What is philosophy "(2003)," Fashion "(2004), "Fear"(2007) and "Work " (2008). His books have been translated into 22 languages. HILDE EGGE, NORWAY Public health nurse since Project manager for PIS project (Plan for Implementation of Discussion groups for divorced children in school) Master Student at NHV (Nordic School of Public Health). Member of the Steering Committee of "See Me" project, a project led by bufdir. (Children, Youth and Family Directorate). Deputy Leader of the Professional interest group of public health nurses NNO. MATS BERGGREN, SWEDEN has worked with parent support for men since 1997 and initiated and led the project "Daddy for real" between the years He is now operations manager at Södertörn Learning center where he works with parenting and gender equality issues, in particular for midwives and pediatric nurses. Spent several years working with father issues in Russia, Belarus and Ethiopia. In St. Petersburg he opened his Dad School in 2008 at a family center in the Nevsky district.
