2 Along the south-west coast of Sicily, in the province of Agrigento, not far from Selinunte s greek temples, between the Belìce and CaRboj rivers and sweet hills, is the town of Menfi. In this typical Mediterranean environment, for over several generations, the Montalbano Farm has been cultivating the land, transforming and commercializing its products. The basic rules of the farm are: RESPECT FOR THE ENVIROMENT and CARE FOR CONSUMERS. The farm has a surface of 380,000 square meters, cultivated with vines, olive trees, citrus trees, and vegetables. A correct management of the farm, such as the use of biological plant food, is the base of our work. We offer a wide selection of products: Wine, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Honey, Oranges Jam, Lemons and Mandarins, Sundried Tomato Patè, Black and Green Olives Patè, Artichoke Patè, Extra Virgin Olive Oil Salad Dressing with Oregano, Rosemary, Lemon, Orange and Garlic. We are dedicated to treating each customer with elegance, kindness, and always a warm greeting. Genuineness, regard, practice: that s why customers remember us. 3 Lustro di Luna Lustro di Luna is a blend of Grecanico and Chardonnay. It is a white dry wine, which merge the potential of Grecanico that grew close to the seaside and the features of the Chardonnay that flourish on the green hills, in the Lago Arancio area. Lustro di Luna: Production: Soft grape stalks removal and treading, low temperature fermentation and refining in steel containers. Food Matching: Fish based dishes, shellfish, asparagus, white meat and sweet cheese. GRAPES:: 50% Chardonnay, 50% Grecanico COLOURs: Deep yellow with light green reflections. PERFUMES: The aroma is intense, with characteristic Mediterranean fragrance of grapefruit, lemon and tangerine, finely mixed with exotic fruits, mainly pineapple. TASTES: On the palate it s an optimal balance between freshness and structure, with a pleasant tasty note that makes it mineral and nicely persistent.

4 Kaìre It has got the same Nero d Avola quality. Fruity flavoured aroma mixed with sweet spicy and vanilla flavoured tastes given by the barrique during the refining. kaìre: production: Grapes soaking made by controlled temperature, marc separation from must and refining in oak Barriques for 12 months. Food Matching: Red meat based dishes, boar minced meat, cold cuts of pork meat and mature cheese. GRAPES: 100% Nero d avola. COLOURs: Red Rubin wine with crimson shimmers. PERFUMES: Fruity aroma, with raspberry, cherry and blackberry tastes, together with sweet spicy and vanilla flavoured notes. TASTES: Warm, well balanced with good freshness and strong aroma persistence. Final touch with fruity notes.

5 Salad dressings Garlic. Chilli pepper. Rosemary. Sage. Oregano. Those are the marinated herbs essence in our pure olive oil. Their sweet perfume is perfect on every kind of meat or pasta. This is the ideal dressing for every meal. Orange and lemon in their essential oils, for the simplest dishes and salad. The simplicity for the pleasure of the taste. FOOD Matching: it can be used as a dressing for meat as well as fish dishes, baked potatoes and salads.

6 Extra Virgin Olive oil From the olive tree fruit the DOP Val di Mazara extra-virgin olive oil originates. The hands that harvest the olives squeeze out their essence from the flesh the same day. The oil slide slowly into the barrel, according to a handmade procedure; only settle and patience can generate, from the baroque trunk tree, a mundane product with a divine taste. 7 Jams Orange. Lemon. Mandarin. Nothing more than the simple sugar s embrace. All jams are made only by real fruit, suitable for every combination, from the simplest to the most refined one. From the branch to the palate, the original flavor of a handmade procedure. FOOD Matching: Ideal for pies and tarts, toasts, fresh goat cheese or semi-aged cattle cheese. 9 Mosto Cotto The Montalbano s Mosto Cotto is a special preparation from grape juice. The Mosto Cotto is a rare homemade product, typical of Sicily. Today, thanks to Montalbano that decided to produce it, you can purchase it directly from this wonderful island. MOSTO COTTO: Production: The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed; the must is cooked for 12 hours. Food Matching: On fresh ricotta as a dessert, in the preparation of dressing sauces, ragù sauce, and pumpkin tortelloni. GRAPES: Catarratto, local Sicilian grape variety. COLOURs: Dark amber. PERFUMES: Carobs, caramel and mature fruits. TASTES: Sweet, good balance between acidity and aromatic persistence.

10 Honey Orange, wildflower, eucalyptus, sulla and chestnut. A smooth river down the throat to warm up the voice; a sweet flavour that only needs a teaspoon. The meticolous bee work in the cells of our senses.
