11 Insulation faults? Not anymore Based on patented technology, DEIF has developed a series of insulation monitors combining the best from the analogue and digital worlds. The new ADL-111 is the ideal choice for insulated DC networks. Using digital technology, the ADL easily detects both double and symmetrical faults faults that go unnoticed by traditional insulation monitors for DC networks. As for AC installations, DC leak voltage or low frequency leak ADL currents from defective frequency converters are known to cause inaccurate measurements. SIM-Q The technology used in the SIM-Q addresses both issues by compensating for DC voltage up to 1,000V and leak current frequencies down to 20Hz as standard. The SIM-Q The SIM-Q and ADL insulation monitors instantly detect faults in the AC or DC power distribution network, thus minimising the impact on ship operation. 12 Analogue instruments for your every need Our range of analogue instruments covers everything from standard short-scale meters for current and voltage to longscale meters for frequency, Cos-phi, effect, etc. Additionally, our instruments can be delivered with a coloured indication of limit range of operation, and can of course be fitted with customer logo. The range includes dual-pointer meters for indication of voltage and frequency, on both sides of the breaker. The range also includes reed frequency and maximum demand meters. On most instruments, IP protection can be specified up to IP54. Synchronisation equipment We offer a complete range of synchronisation equipment, including: check synchronising relays, read synchroscopes, lamp synchroscopes, phase sequence meters, double voltage and double frequency meters, etc. Our CSQ-/RSQ- check synchronising relay/read synchroscope is the third generation of a product family which has gained recognition for its robust design and user friendliness. Having 6 LEDs, both products provide a steady and easily read indication of the frequency deviation. The pushbuttons on the front of the CSQ- instrument help secure a simple and safe product setup before commissioning the setup can be configured without opening the switchboard. 6

13 Measuring transducers The transducer range comprises digital multi- and single-output transducers. The transducers can be configured by means of the included free utility software to measure various parameters.
