In this construction sector, the company has executed such projects as, among others, office complexes Marynarska Point and Green Corner in Warszawa, Grunwaldzki Center in Wrocław, Malta House in Poznań, Kapelanka 42 in Kraków and one of the flagship projects - office, retail and service complex Złote Tarasy in Warszawa. Moreover, Skanska is a contractor of such investments as Sosnowiec Science and Technology Park, Gdańsk Business Incubator and Data Processing Center in Radom. 2

3 Raben office building and telecommunications works. A sequence of installation solutions enabling energy saving was used in the building. Moreover, Skanska was responsible for the installation of the system of automatic sliding shading panels made from stainless steel, steered automatically, depending on sunlight exposure. It is one of the first such systems installed in Poland then. Modern office building of high technological standards constructed in Gądki near Poznań is the result of the project executed for Cougar Investments Polska. The building is an office of the international logistics concern Raben. It is the first facility implemented by Skanska in accordance with Feng Shui concept. In a four-story building, there are working rooms, so called open space, meeting rooms, conference rooms, a restaurant and there is a fitness room, technical rooms, archives and server room in the underground part. The investment executed by Skanska included the construction of a four-story office building with a basement under its part with a car park with almost 300 spaces, roads, walk ways as well as the elements of infrastructure and small architecture. The works covered mostly earthworks, construction and road works as well as works related to the implementation of electric The office building is the first facility implemented by Skanska in accordance with Feng Shui concept. This practice aims at achieving harmonious, sustainable life in line with natural environment. The Chinese believe that the surrounding in which a person lives has a significant influence on their future. This is why the location of the building is so relevant, its placement in relation to the directions of the world and proper interior design. The facility was accepted to the European GreenBuilding Programme. It is a standard available for nonresidential buildings, in which the total energy use should be 25% less than national standards. 4 Malta House Malta House is a building of a special atmosphere combining modern technologies, green solutions and unique location by the banks of Lake Malta in Poznań. The facility is a modern and functional A class office complex designed and executed in line with green sustainable construction policy. It is the first office project in Poznań certified in LEED system at the highest, platinum, level. The investment in Poznań also meets all requirements for green buildings, according to the guidelines of European program EU GreenBuilding. The awards confirm that the investment was executed in line with sustainable development rules. It means that it will have less impact on the environment, thanks to the wide range of green solutions. At the same time, they make it possible to reduce operational costs of the building, which will result in lower bills for electricity and water. The building has 5 floors above ground and 2 under ground with a total area of m². In its project, Skanska used many technological environment-friendly solutions. Creating ecological and comfortable working environment starts in Malta House from the shape of the building. Four different facades turned towards four directions of the world and one wall looking like a saw blade provide not only optimal sunshine to the building s surface every day all year round. They also prevent excessive heating of the building, which has a good influence on its energy balance. Other innovative solutions used in the complex cover: effective air-conditioning system based on fan coil units equipped with energy-saving motors free cooling (using cold air coming from outside to cool the building) high thermal insulation facade with elements resembling a saw reducing heating of the building as a result of sunlight from the eastern and western sides, providing maximum access to the natural daylight at the same time adiabatic air humidifying (humidifying system using water mist with the use of cheaper thermal energy, using of which affects the natural environment to a lesser degree than using electricity) using heat coming from offices to heat the garage using high light reflectance materials on the building s roof to minimize the occurrence of heat islands energy-saving lightning system (energy-saving lamps, movement detectors steering the lightning in the common parts of the office building and toilets) modern building management system BMS using finishing materials with low content of volatile organic compounds, thus more beneficial to health using wooden elements and products based on wood from certified plants (FSC) car park and cloakrooms with showers for cyclists water-saving fittings 8 power supply points for electric vehicles using recycled and regional materials, which make it possible to reduce the impact of their transport on the natural environment. 4

6 Other selected Skanska projects Kapelanka 42, Kraków Kapelanka 42 is the first project of Skanska Property Poland executed in Karaków. This modern A class office complex consists of two buildings. As all other Skanska projects, it was constructed with respect to sustainable development rules. It is confirmed by certifications of LEED system at GOLD level and EU GreenBuilding. Each building has 9 aboveground floors and 3 underground ones. Total rental area in both parts is approx sq. m. Large and properly designed office space provides the tenants with high flexibility in terms of interior design. It is also the first office building in Łódź with LEED certificate. Green Horizon consists of two seven-story buildings. It has a two-level underground car park with 395 parking spaces as well as cycle parking, showers and cloakrooms for cyclists. In the office building, there are also shops, service points, restaurants and a canteen. Client: Skanska Property Poland Date of execution: Usable area: m 2 Cubic capacity: m 3 (aboveground) + underground car park m 3 Green Corner, Warszawa As a part of the investment, Skanska realized a facility consisting of two seven-story buildings, two-level car park with 265 parking spaces and parking space for cycles with showers and cloakrooms. Area of a standard floor is approx m 2. Green Corner offices are characterized by ergonomics and practical space planning. They were designed in a way enabling the division into individual and team working zones as well as representative and recreation parts. All of them are perfectly lit by daylight. 7 Data Processing Center in Radom For the needs of the Ministry of Finance, Skanska constructed the modern Data Center performing the function of the operational processing center. The facility was built on a 4 hectares plot in Radom at Warszawa-Kraków route. Skanska has been executing Data Center projects for many years all over the world, among others, in Great Britain and United States. Using great technical resources and experience, it successfully constructed a technical building including, among others, server rooms with highly advanced energy, cooling, safety and telecommunications infrastructure for the needs of the installation of servers processing financial data of customs and tax systems in our country. The facility was designed and constructed with one of the highest standard operational guarantees. According to the Ministry of Finance, the Data Processing Center in Radom built by Skanska is a modern technological facility, the first of this kind in the Polish administration. Data Processing Center is a branch of the Ministry of Finance performing the function of operational base in terms of technology and administration as well as all central IT systems of the ministry. The facility is important not only due to the prestige of the investment, but primarily due to the creation of numerous jobs for qualified experts. Data Processing Center built by Skanska received an award in the category of architectural buildings constructed in the area of Radom in the years Jury appreciated the beauty of contemporary architecture, performance and use of modern technologies. Alfons Pinno award is given once every two years by the president of Radom and the Association of Polish Architects. It is awarded to the most interesting objects realized in the area of Radom. 8 Volvo Polska office building, Wrocław Volvo Polska office building, Wrocław Volvo Polska office building at Włodarska St. in Wrocław The building was converted into the office room for Volvo Polska. Skanska increased the height of the second floor and added a new part of the building. The office building has a representative entrance with granite stairs leading through the arcade to the main hall with reception, meeting rooms, so called quiet room and offices. In the basement, there are three conference rooms with sanitary facilities. The building has an elevator and was designed in a way providing the disabled people with conditions enabling the use of its rooms without problems. Skanska implemented new sanitary and electrical installations. It also connected the building with gas as well as ramification water supply and sewer network owned by the Investor. Roads and exits were built and adjacent areas around the building were developed. Client: Volvo Polska Sp. z o.o. Execution date: Usable area: 189 m 2 Cubic capacity: m 3 Sosnowiec Science and Technology Park Project was divided into two tasks. The first task covered the adaptation of four-story post-mine building of a former control room to a new production and research function for, among others, pharmaceutical industry. This facility was modernized and adjusted to the production and laboratory needs. The second task covered the construction and adaptation of the facility for Zagłębie Economic Zone (Zagłębiowska Strefa Gospodarcza). Five-story building was adapted to the needs of entrepreneurs running innovative companies. After modernization, office, training and conference areas were created. Conference and training complex includes five rooms, including the large one, with over 200 seats. Moreover, the area of the building was divided into 14 functional modules covering laboratory, office, storage and social rooms, cloakrooms and sanitary installations. Some rooms were provided with office equipment. Client: Municipality of Sosnowiec Execution date: Usable area: 1 383m 2 Cubic capacity: m 3 Floors: 4 Net value: PLN Building at Moniuszki St. in Łódź As a part of works entrusted to Skanska, the administration and office facility gained new, service function. The contract covered the adaptation of the building for the needs of the Entrepreneur Service Center and Department Green Corner, Warszawa of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. The rooms were given exhibition conference and office functions. 9 Conference and Exhibition Center in Kościuszko Fort In two years, Skanska executed the construction of Conference and Exhibition Center for the Kościuszko Mound Committee in Kraków. Due to the renovation of Fort Kościuszko curtain wall and rehabilitation of its interior, a dualfunction Conference and Exhibition Center was built. Renovation of this unique monument revealed its former assets, giving it both conference and exhibition functions at the same time. I-V curtain wall of Fort no. 2 Kościuszko renovated by Skanska is a building made from brick and stone, which, before the commencement of construction works, consisted of two walls with a thickness of 3 and 1.15 m. Construction works covered by the investment were performed mainly in terms of the reinforcement of the foundations of the facility and construction of two floors of the Center. The company, using great technical resources and experience in such projects, successfully implemented a sequence of maintenance and renovation works. The surface of the bricks of the Curtain wall entered in the register of historic monuments was cleaned from dirt and microorganisms and losses in bricks were filled in. Skanska perfectly dealt with the challenge which was the renovation of stone elements, including the implementation of replicas of destroyed and missing parts, so called crenellations. The facility was covered with flat roof, which is also a viewing terrace. As a part of developing the Fort surroundings, the company also built a car park and pedestrian routes. Tadeusz Kosciuszko Conference and Exhibition Center is the facility intended for exhibitions, presentations, trainings and conferences. In the building, there is also a catering facility. The Center was also adjusted to the needs of disabled people. 10 Office, retail and service complex Złote Tarasy, Warszawa Gdańsk Business Incubator As a part of the contract, Skanska built a modern office building with training and conference part consisting of two connected buildings: one with three floors and one with five floors. A one-level car park for 100 vehicles is located under the facility. The company also built external networks and a shared zones as well as internal installations: ventilation, air-conditioning, central heating and plumbing. Client: Gdańsk City Development Directorate Execution date: Usable area: m 2 Cubic capacity: m 3 Net value: PLN Office complex Marynarska Point in Warszawa As a part of the investment, Skanska built two independent office buildings. Both objects have 14 floors - they consist of 11-story aboveground parts and 3-story underground garages. The buildings were equipped with passenger as well as passenger and goods elevators. Marynarska Point was executed in a way enabling meeting the requirements of energy efficiency A class (the lowest use of energy) in construction industry. Here, there is a fully automatic mechanical ventilation system with air humidifying, cooling and drying options. The entire operation of the facility is based on on the automatic steering system, whose task is to control, monitor and regulate the operational parameters of mechanical, electrical and other installations. Client: Skanska Property Poland Usable area: m 2 Cubic capacity: m 3 Office, retail and service complex Złote Tarasy in Warszawa Złote Tarasy is a multi-functional retail, office and entertainment complex located in the middle of Warszawa. There are retail and service points, Multikino and underground garage with 1.6 thousand spaces. Three office facilities - a 100 meter skyscraper and two twelve-story buildings designed on the plan of a crescent with elevations leaned towards Złota Marynarska Point in Warszawa street are also a part of the complex. Multi-story terraced courtyard covered with glass roof with the area of over 10 thousand m 2 is the heart of the investment. Four aboveground floors are the central part of the retail and service part. They were built in a form of terraces and connected with escalators, ramps and elevators systems. They are covered with an irregular dome-shaped steel structure covered with glass. 11 Grunwaldzki Center, Wrocław Office and Staff building no. 2 in Military Complex in Sochaczew - modernization Modernization was related to the maintenance of roof, flashings and partial replacement of lightning protection system. As a part of the project, the facility was reconstructed in order to modernize it and improve the working comfort. New partition walls and the walls separating rooms were implemented. New sanitary systems were also installed, including the one adjusted to the needs of disabled people. Skanska performed thermomodernization of the object with the replacement of external window and door frames as well as roof renovation. It installed internal systems: central heating, cold and hot water supply, sanitary sewage, mechanical and gravity ventilation as well as electrical and low current ones.
