10 10 JOB DESCRIPTION OF A SPORT DIETITIAN AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES Individual athlete meal planning, and education in the dining hall. Team Orientation meetings to describe the nutrition aspects of the village and venues. Initial and periodic assessment of Olympic village dining halls to assure food safety and performance based menus. Provide additional education and food service support to athletes who have allergies and those ill/injured during the Games.

11 11 JOB DESCRIPTION OF A SPORT DIETITIAN AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES Provide Dietetics support and management of chefs for outside housing. Design, supervise, and maintained the food area within the athlete lounge. Strategically placed additional fueling stations in various venues. Assisted with inventory/storage of food orders. Donate remaining food to: cleaning staff, local orphanage and Paralympic Village dining hall.
