Flórián Albert, Golden Ball awarded footballer in 1967 and Sportsman of the Nation is commemorated by the change of the name of a section of the Gyáli Street nearby the stadium of his club, Ferencvárosi TC. Accordingly, the new postal address of the National Center for Epidemiology is: H-1097 Budapest, Albert Flórián út 2-6. page 1

The aim of ECDC country visits is to improve cooperation with the member states and support them. After the visit at the Ministry for Human Resources, the Delegation visited our BSL3/4 laboratory which was followed by the presentation of our Institute and our large sphere of professional activities in our quality of coordinating competent body for ECDC: The Hungarian Surveillance System HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) The National Immunisation Program Laboratory capacity, country preparedness and response The Influenza surveillance Surveillance of the health-care associated infections in Hungary The ECDC delegation visited the following laboratories too: Virology, Influenza, AMR, Phage typing Marc Sprenger said after the visit of our laboratories: From outside the buildings of the Institute could seem old, but the laboratories are wellequipped, very clean and modern, and they are working. The staff is welltrained and dedicated. He also posted on Twitter: Visiting National Epi Center in Hungary, OEK. If I could start my career again I would go for EUPHEM in Hungary! Well equipped and fine staff! In the morning of the second day the ECDC delegation visited the Hungarian Institute of Cardiology. The visit was closed by a meeting in the building of the OCMO in which the representatives of the Ministry, OCMO and NCE participated. Summary of the visit: Hungary is a very active member of ECDC, has a good surveillance system and is very reliable and the first among the other countries in providing data. Hungary has also provided EPIET EU-track and MS-track trainings and has also a EUPHEM MS-track fellow this year. All participants consider that the visit was very fruitful.
