6 Section 2. What do we know about daily life in ancient Egypt? SLIDES How was ancient Egypt ruled? Ancient Egyptian society was organized like a circle/pyramid/square. 1. Cut out the pictures, the descriptions and names of people in ancient Egypt. Put them together forming a pyramid and match the correct pictures, descriptions and people.

7 The Descriptions They were the rulers of ancient Egypt. They were like a king or queen. He helped the pharaoh look after ancient Egypt. They wrote and kept records. These people made things. 9 Washing Water Papyrus Mud SLIDE 17 The Egyptian Farming Season 9. Complete the storyboard of the Egyptian farming seasons. Choose these descriptions and write them in the correct boxes. When the crops ripened they were harvested. The flood waters arrived by the middle of July so no farming work could be done. Animals were used to press the seeds firmly into the ground.
