2 Directions to the Portland International Jetport The Portland International Jetport is easy to get to! We re conveniently located just off Exit 46 of the Maine Turnpike/I-95. Or, if you re arriving via I-295, just take Exit 3 to Western Ave. Local traffic can access the Jetport via Congress Street. 3 Ready for Take-Off When you arrive: Parking is just steps from the door of the terminal what could be more convenient? We do recommend you arrive 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure, especially during peak hours and holidays. All airline ticket counters are located on the first floor of the terminal; airline staff is on hand at least 2 hours prior to each flight s scheduled departure. Smart Traveler Tip: If you re not checking any bags and you choose to print your boarding pass at home, you can go directly to Security Screening, located on the 3rd floor for all airlines. If you re parking in the garage while you re away, park on Level 3 and breeze in via the Skybridge! At the Security Checkpoint: Be prepared before you get to the front of the line by following these simple steps: Ensure that everyone in your party has followed the Rule for Carry-Ons (3.4 ounces or smaller containers of liquids or gels, contained in a 1-quart zip-top plastic bag 1 bag allowed per traveler). For a complete list of rules for carry-on items, visit If you re traveling with a laptop or tablet computer, take it out of your bag and put it in the security bin. Take off your shoes and jacket (for your convenience, we provide complimentary Sky Slippers at the checkpoint).
