12 BLUE KNIGHTS BOYS CLUB Knights for Virtue! The boys program is based on Ephesians 5, where the boys build a suit of armor as they learn virtue through Scripture and the lives of saints.

13 BLUE KNIGHTS BOYS CLUB First Year, boys make a suit of armor as they practice virtues. Subsequent years learn about missionaries, sacraments, points of catechism Badges, medals and merit certificates can be earned as boys practice their faith.

15 BLUE KNIGHTS BOYS CLUB We have all of the dads involved. I would not do Blue Knights without some strong support from the dads. We have boys of several different ages and all of their dads come to each meeting. Each dad takes turn leading the prayer / talk or the craft / game. We do not have any moms. Not that moms are bad, but this is a great thing for dads and sons. We have 20 boys, 1st-6th grade. It's been a great year. We used dowel rods and the boys got to spray paint them outside. we then did spear tossing contests for distance and accuracy. they also used them to attack garbage bags full of newspapers (dragons/sins). 4 years later and my son still uses his (and he's 15 now)

17 LITTLE WOMEN HOSPITALITY PROGRAM For ages 10 and up Teaches different aspects of the virtue of hospitality such as setting and clearing the table, preparing a room for a guest, cooking, sewing, tea party, etc.

18 SERVING CHRIST BY SERVING OTHERS The girls in the program earn charms for a charm bracelet or necklace as they practice different aspects of serving Christ through the service of others.

19 HOSPITALITY MEANS The aspects of hospitality that are explored in this program include: cooking, cleaning, setting and clearing a table, the skill of conversation, table manners, sewing and modesty, preparing a room for a guest, correspondence, bringing hospitality to others, planning a tea party and hosting a book club.

20 LITERATURE AND FAITH The Hospitality Program incorporates examples from literature (e.g. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott) as well as a specific patronage of Our Lady to help the girls in their practice of the skills of hospitality.

23 Our Lady's Honor Guard is a challenging, inspiring, and rewarding Catholic program for youth ages 12 and up, encompassing four areas of concentration: The World, The Church, The Diocese, and The Family. The program molds youth into true defenders of the faith. Participants strive toward the Crown of Distinction by earning pins in each of the four areas.

25 Participants are encouraged to work in groups, supporting one another in completing each area of concentration. This program could be successfully implemented in a Junior High or High School Youth Group Setting.
