I have experience in manual testing. I have been working primarily in the domain of Banking (Credit Risk Management System) and Supply Chain Management. I have mainly worked on Oracle Reports/Forms and PL/SQL. My secondary skills include exposure to SAP, UNIX and Architectural modeling). Also, to enrich my exposure in the field Quality Assurance, I have taken up additional responsibilities such as that of project s Defect Prevention Prime. TDS Logistics ((Now Syncreon) From Jan-07 to Mar-08 My key roles and responsibilities in this project were as follows: Was involved in Quality Assurance Activities and was the Defect Prevention Prime, where I was to monitor the Defects occurring on a monthly basis and take preventive measures Did estimations for Change requests raised by the client. Designed the Architecture/ Implementation Plans for the solutions. Was involved in testing of various projects, which included Unit Testing, Integration testing (at both Pre-UAT and UAT levels), Functional Testing, Test Case Designs for Black Box testing as well as White Box Testing, Black Box Testing and White Box Testing (Mainly in cases or Peer reviews) Development/Coding (for Change Requests) in Oracle Forms / Reports 6i ; SAP ; VB.NET Client Exposure Interaction with both European and American Clients Quick Grasping/ Learning/ Exploring ability has made me able to get a hold on various technologies. Architectural Modeling: In this role I was supposed to implement the architectural design by use of MasterCraft (TCS s internal tool used for Architectural modeling). Being in this role gave me an insight for the architectural design and how it is implemented in a project. GUI Design: Screen design was done in Java Swings by use of Kava tool. Reports Testing: In this role I designed and tested reports done in Oracle Reports 6i. In all, I was supposed to test over 130 reports and make sure that they fulfilled Functional requirements as well as Performance Requirements. Did performance tuning for these reports where needed. I also prepared extensive documentation for these reports and created the Test Plan along with STS and UTS. I did all kinds of Page 2 of 5

3 testing in this project which include: Unit testing, Integration testing (Pre-UAT and UAT levels), Performance testing, Functional testing, White Box testing Was involved in the analysis of the Business Requirement Document, preparation of test case documents, test case execution and defect reporting Environment Management: In this team I was given the responsibility of the environment management for the development team and for the Quality Assurance team. Here I implemented UNIX scripts and routine jobs. Windows XP Oracle 9i Oracle Reports 6i MasterCraft (Modeling Tool) UNIX Project 1 Description of the overall project Office Management Systems for NALCO The major accomplishment in this project was that successfully integrated and implemented and I was the sole owner and held the end-to-end responsibility for delivery of the project, thus facing the entire software development lifecycle Systems Department National Aluminium Company (NALCO),Orissa, the largest Aluminium refining and smelting plant in India. Office Management Systems (OMS) was developed for the systems department of NALCO. I had developed and integrated three independent modules: 1. DAK management system (Handled files and letters) 2. Inventory management System (All the items in the inventory of the Systems Department were managed here) 3. Material Requisite Module (Staff of the organisation could request materials online). Was exposed to all the phases of the SDLC in this project Feasibility, Requirement, Analysis (Estimations), Designs, Coding and Testing. Windows 98 Sybase Visual Basic 6 Achievements: Have been involved in Quality Assurance work as reflected in the testing and defect prevention roles. Have worked in all the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Extensive testing experience in the entire period of work Handling an entire end-to-end system (Office Management Systems in NALCO).
