3 DETECTED TWO DACOITY CASES -NABBED GANG OF SIX MEMBERS AND RECOVERED STOLEN CASH, ONE AUTO AND CELL PHONES On , on credible information the Commissioner s Task force, South Zone Team with the assistance of Moghalpura Police has nabbed dacoity gang consisting of 6 members namely 1) Mohd Faisal, 2) Mohd Riyazuddin, 3) Shaik Abubakar, 4) Abdul Imran 5) Syed Asif and 6) Mohd Muqtar who committed two dacoity cases in the limits of Moghalpura and Charminar P.S.s. Seized Net cash of Rs 2,00,000/-, 03-Cell phones, one auto which were used in the commission of offences at the instance of accused persons. The details of accused apprehended:- 1. Mohd Faisal S/o. Md Khaja, aged: 21 yrs, occ: merchandise work R/o Misrigunj, Shahalibanda, Hyderabad. 2. Mohd Riyaz S/o. Mohd Younus, aged: 20 yrs, occ: Fruit vendor R/o. Doodhbowli, Hussainialam, Hyd. 3. Shaik Abubakar S/o. Shaik Abdullah, aed: 20 yrs, occ: Centring work R/o Chotebazar, Golkonda, Hyd. 4. Abdul Imran S/o. Abdul Rahheem, aged: 23 yrs, occ: Catering contractor R/o. Mothi Darwaza, Golkonda, Hyd. 5. Syed Asif S/o. Syed Yousuf, aged: 21 yrs, occ: Fruit business R/o Md Lines, Tolichowki, Langerhouse, Hyd. 6. Md Muqtar S/o. Md Afzal, aged: 18 yrs, occ: Auto driver R/o. First lancer, Mehdipatnam, Hyd. 7. Md Basith R/o.Tolichowki ( absconding) Property Recovered:- 1) Net cash of Rs.2,00,000/- 2) One Auto bearing No TS-09-UA-4818 which was used in commission of offence. 3) 3-Cell phones including one micro max cell phone pertains to Charminar dacoity. The brief facts of the case: - On , a Robbery case has been registered in Moghalpura P.S. vide CrNo 96/2016 U/s. 395 IPC where in the complainant Sri N. Naveen Kumar, aged: 45 yrs, occ: Airtel SIM cards distributor R/o. Chowni, Saidabad stated that, while he was checking collection records in his Airtel distribution office situated, 2 nd floor, Anusree Complex, Shahalibanda road at about 6.45 P.M., four unknown Persons entered into his cabin, attacked him, gave fist blows and also kicked him. When he tried to
4 resist them, they closed his mouth, forcibly opened the drawer of the counter and taken away cash of Rs 3,40,000/- and while escaping they pushed him in that cabin and locked the office door from outside. On , on credible information South Zone Task Force Team with the assistance of Moghalpura Police apprehended the above offenders near Charminar bus stand and recovered the stolen cash, one auto used in the commission of offence and 3 cell phones at the instance of accused persons. During the confession the above accused persons confessed to have committed another offence in the limits of Charminar on Modus Operandi of the accused:- The accused Mohd Faisal, who has been working in Airtel Top up Recharge cum SIM cards distributing office situated Shahalibanda road, Moghalpura noticed huge money transactions are taking place at his office every day, for which he approached one Riyaz on and shared information with him and hatched plan to commit robbery with the help of his friends and offered them good share. Riyaz agreed his proposal and formed a gang consisting of Abubakar, Asif, Muqtar, Imran and Basith. According to their plan, on at about 1.00 PM, Riyaz along with Abubakar, Asif and Muqtar went to the said Airtel office in the auto of Muqtar bearing No bearing No TS 09-UA- 4818, visited the said premises and also conducted racee. Later, they all went to Tolichowki where Basith and Imran also joined them. The accused Faisal choosed Iftar time to commit robbery, as all the workers in the said office will go for breaking the fast and only Incharge would be available. As per their plan all the above six persons left Tolichowki in an auto bearing No TS 09-UA-4818, reached Shahalibanda at about 6.30 PM. After 30 minutes on the information of Faisal regarding the absence of inmates in office. Riyaz along with remaining five accused persons entered in to the Airtel office, found one person inside the Cabin. On seeing them he tried to make shoutings but them all five pounced on him, closed his mouth, kicked him and warned him not to shout. Muqtar, Basith, Abubakar, Imran caught hold him and Riyaz opened the cash drawer, robbed all the cash from the drawer and kept in his hand bag, left the place by closing the door from outside and boarded the auto. At about 1.30 AM on the same night Faisal joined them and they distributed the robbed amount. Further, the accused has confessed that, earlier on 29/ midnight on the information given by Faisal, who is also working in a Haleem outlet center situated at Shahalibanda belongs to one Shahid Adnan as a part time worker, the accused persons attempted to commit Robbery while Shahid Adnan, his supervisor MD Yahia Kareem and another person carrying the collection amount from Haleem outlet shop to deposit in Shadab hotel, Madina on Activa motor bike and while passing Chelapura, the accused persons Asif, Abubakar and Imran in the auto bearing No TS-09UA-4818, Riyaz, Muqtar and Basith on two wheeler splendor of Basith way laid near Chelapura and thrown chilly powder in the eyes of persons who were carrying cash. But they escaped along with cash, Riyaz along with his associates able to rob one micro max cell phone from the rider of Activa Sri Md Yahia Kareem (complainant in CrNo 156/2016 U/s. 392 IPC of Charminar P.S.) The accused persons Asif and Abubakar are having past criminal history. Asif is involved in an attempt to murder case of Rajendranagar P.S. and Abubakar is involved in two theft cases of Abids P.S. The apprehended accused persons along with recovered property handed over to SHO Moghalpura P.S. for taking further action against the accused persons. The accused Md Basith R/o. Tolichowki is absconding. The above arrests and seizures made under the supervision of Sri. N. Koti Reddy, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner s Task Force, Hyderabad City, by Sri. A.
