1 Throughout this quarter, opportunities for depth should be provided for students on the standards listed below. This provides the foundation for student success as they enter first and second grade. When considering centers, small group instruction or time you may have keep these standards at the forefront. Utilize the resources provided to you by the district as needed. Depth Opportunities: CC 4, 5, 6; OA 2, 4 Priorities in Support of Rich Instruction and Expectations of Fluency and Conceptual Understanding K-2: Addition and subtraction-concepts, skills and problem solving Principal Resource Routines- Instructional Method Flowchart Resource/ Additional Resource Day 1 Quick Images or Math Rack/Tens Frame Warm-up on Dreambox teacher tools to specifically address standard -This would be a good time to begin incorporating students writing quantity of image they see to address K.CC.3. K.OA.4 (For any number 1 to 9 find the number that makes 10 when added to the given number using objects, drawings, and record the answer with a drawing or equation.
