3 Welcome Exhibitors! Zone IV Finals Information CFHJA NOVEMBER #3392 NOVEMBER 5-8, 2015 TAMPA, FL - FLORIDA STATE FAIRGROUNDS Welcome to the 2015 Zone IV Southern Finals. To be held in conjunction with CFHJA November s #3392 Horse Show - November 5-8, 2015 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, FL. We are excited to highlight CWD who is giving a $1,000 gift certificate toward tack/saddle for the High Point Grand Prix Rider BETWEEN the CFHJA November 5-8 show and Fox Lea Farm s November horse shows. The certificate will be awarded at Fox Lea Farm after their Grand Prix November 15. Zone IV exhibitors must designate on their entry forms if they would like to compete in the Zone IV classes. Check yes or no! A $40 Armband fee will be added to your statement. Proceeds from the Armbands benefit the USHJA Zone IV. Zone IV class numbers can be found in bold next to the divisions - please indicate these numbers on your entry blank as well as your division class numbers for accurate result processing. To be eligible for prize money, USEF/USHJA points, and your association points, you must be entered in the regular division classes as well. You must wear your armband into your zone specified class for zone points to be counted. See the schedule for Zone IV class days. Hunter and Equitation divisions will consist of 2 O/F classes and 1 U/S. Jumper divisions consist of 2 O/F classes. Zone IV division Champion and Reserve Champion will receive prizes and ribbons for 3 rd -8 th. We look forward to this highlighted event. 9 This Horse Show is sanctioned by the following: USEF/USHJA South Florida Hunter & Jumper Association Central Florida Hunter Jumper Association Southwest Florida Hunter & Jumper Association HUNTER DIVISION EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULEBOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. Hunter sections may be run as back-to-back classes at management s discretion. When classes are run back-to-back, exhibitors may perform both rounds before leaving the ring. Courses will simulate fences found in the hunting field such as: brush, wall, in and out, oxer, post and rails, gate, panels. All classes will be judged on performance and soundness unless otherwise noted. Horses will not be jogged for soundness unless otherwise noted. Judges will reflect any unsoundness in their scores. All Hunter Championships Classes: Awarded to the top two of the top four horses/ponies, which have earned the most points in over fences classes. In addition to these points, only these top four horses/ponies will receive full points for ribbons won in the under saddle class. In addition, Full points will be earned in the Regular Conformation Model class and half points in the Green Conformation Model class, and the Small, Medium, Large & Green Pony Model classes. Jumping Order: Jumping order will be established in accordance with the USEF rule - HU 158. All horses competing in Federation non-breed restricted licensed competitions with hunter, hunter breeding, jumper and hunter seat equitation classes (except those activities enumerated in GR901.9, items 1-9) must be properly identified and must obtain a Registration Number from USHJA. A registration number for each horse must be entered on all entry forms for licensed competitions. Only one Registration Number will be issued per horse, and must remain with the horse throughout its career. HIGH PERFORMANCE WORKING HUNTER SECTION A High Performance Working Hunter is a horse open to all horses and riders. To be shown over a course over fences ranging in height from 4 to 4 6. Under saddle to count Full points. Individual classes may be entered. Horses to be jogged for soundness. To be judged on performance, soundness, manners and way of going. No pony may be shown in a performance class in this division unless the owner possesses a current measurement card or valid measurement form issued by the Federation. Management MAY NOT issue exhibitor numbers until the above requirements have been complied with. Manners and suitability of a pony for a rider shall be emphasized and extreme speed shall be penalized. Suitability of pony for a rider shall be determined by the height and weight of the rider in relation to the size of the pony as well as the compatibility of the rider and pony.
